I didn't think I got any GWP when I ordered the castle yesterday. But I just looked back at my orders and it's there. So that's cool. I already have one, so this one I can sell to offset the cost. (I'm in the US)

I noted that as well on my “now shipping” email. A very pleasant surprise, to say the least!  I, too, already a couple, but it will be nice to find a good home for it.

Not a bad deal today if you get the Mario Reznor or the Lakitu and Sumo Bro Tower.  They are all on sale 20% and that will get you both promos as well for about $56 before tax.

I bet it'll be out of stock real quick!

Camp Nou stadium and Queer Eye both -40%. Was hoping the Ninja temple would join them but it's still -20%

AT-TE : "available" yesterday, "will ship by September 16th" this morning, "will ship in 60 days" this afternoon. Boo.
  • PapaBearPapaBear Member Posts: 665
Had the Queer Eye set in my cart and ready to check out.  It's only been out for 10 months and the LEGO website has already been discounting it for a long period, now at 40% off?  Guess they made too many.  I've spent way too much recently.  I'll pass for now and hopefully get it at that discount or greater later.

Pick a brick.  Go to main menu and click on help.  Select replacement parts.  Scroll down to buy bricks.

Do, did I miss the boat on #40547 Obi Wan and Vader Brickheadz? I realize it's been out for a bit, but it's showing out of stock. There are others that have been out longer that are still available. I just can't find it at any store online below $40.

That's going to happen as long as LEGO allows people to buy 300 of a part in one go (not saying that someone bought 300 by themselves, but you only need a bunch of people buying a large amount for their bricklink stores). IMO LEGO really needs to limit any special part, figure, accessories or animals to only 10 per purchase and limit that per month for each buyer (so you do not just have one guy buy 10 of a part, then checkout, and get another ten of a part in the next order, etc..). But LEGO probably will not even try to do that. However, if they would do that, I think it would help people be able to get parts they want and not have to resort to paying possibly twice as much for many of the sought after parts from a parts seller.

I completely agree, aftermarket for troop building for my castle is way to expensive. So I'll just keep an eye out for when it comes back.

Every time (when using Chrome) that I enter Lego.com, I get a page of text error. After clearing my cache and cookies, I get the Netherlands site. If I change the nl-nl extension to en-us and hit enter, I get the error again. Lego says to just clear your data and when that doesn't work, use a different browser. This has been going on for months now. I can't figure out why Chrome has such an issue with Lego US, or perhaps it's the other way around.

Mine cycles through the various region websites for some reason. One day it’s fine, but the next time I might be in Australia, Italy, etc.

Mine also is 'Country Roulette'. Im not sure what country my browser is going to see LEGO S@H in (I use Mozilla), and then I just have to go set it back to US.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one who’s been getting directed to random country pages whenever I go to Lego.com!

My final problem is that I can never get to the US Lego site on Chrome. It's either an error screen or the Netherlands. I have to use Firefox. At least some of you can correct the URL and get there. I can't. Once in a while I end up on a random Lego profile page that I've never seen on the US site and I can't edit or save to get out. I have to close the window. Drives me nuts.

Well, I got the Brickhound text at 3 AM that #40547 was back in stock. I also ended up actually getting an email from LEGO as well that it was still in stock.

I honestly debated whether or not to stick it out to add to another purchase in the future, but didn't want to be the dumb one that missed out because of that. I had a cart ready to go with a couple of white baseplates too to get me just over the shipping threshold. Once I finally woke up, I quickly went to S@H and submitted the order!

    FOMO be gone!
  • scotty12scotty12 Member Posts: 852
^ Same kinda situation with the #40478 Disney Mini Castle.  I didn't get one from Brickhound.....just Lego.  I got an email at 6:22am and then by 9:30...it was already out of stock.
But it's sad if other sites are announcing items are "back in-stock" before you get one from the company that actually produces and sells the same item.

^I definitely experienced the same frustration two years ago with the Elf Club House. I signed up for email alerts. I kept seeing people on the forum say they saw it come in stock and then go back as OOS 7 minutes later. Meanwhile, I never got the email notification from LEGO. That's when I switched to Brickhound and ultimately how I ended up getting the Elf Club House in one of those 10 minute windows.

So...Castaway tomorrow...but any definitive word on the VIP Spooky Pack?

According to thebrickfan.com the Spooky VIP pack should be available through out the month (I hope so as the one thing I really want is the Winter Village set, but that is available to VIPs on the 3rd).

Thanks.  I wasn't able to get certain sites at work, hence I wasn't able to get the scoop.  I wonder if all three promos will stack at midnight, or if the Lloyd Ninjago promo is only qualifies with a purchase of Ninjago sets.

My order shipped also.  Waiting until tomorrow to order the Winter Village set.  Hopefully GWP's will still be available.
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,836
I wound up buying the Santa's sleigh and the tree, and some other sets to get to the castaway promo set. Ill be buying the Winter village set tonight and cashing in my lunchbox promo code.

Two of two are FedEx.  Wonder if they had too much trouble with Lasership.  Curious also if it's just a result of what I ordered.  Did anyone else have their orders shipped via Lasership this time around?
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,836
Ugh, a few bad gateway errors when trying to check out tonight, otherwise got the #10308 WV Main street, a couple of the #40454 Spider Man vs Iron Venom sets, and got the Spooky VIP set, Castaway promo and cashed in my lunchbox code.

Crap, My order was cancelled. Apparently I ordered those #40454 sets previously and now my promo code for the lunch box will not work when trying to submit a new order. Does anyone know if the codes reset, and if so when?
  • PapaBearPapaBear Member Posts: 665
They cancelled your order because you ordered small spiderman sets before, really?
  • Switchfoot55Switchfoot55 Member Posts: 3,484
Ended up snagging the WV set and the Hogwarts Professor BHz at midnight last night. The Castaway GWP and Spooky VIP packs both added. The BHz set is backordered, but the others will ship with the WV Main Street set. Happy to have this order submitted and on it's way.

Yeah, that LEGOs limitation policy, they cancel the whole order instead of the those items.. and you have a chance to also lose any promo codes/items as well due to that... Gotta Love LEGO

I've never had them use LaserShip. Maybe a regional thing? Oh, that explains it. Lasership serves Midwest USA/Eastern USA. Not western USA.
