That combined with the Star Wars offer on 9/30 is a great promo combo.
Yeah, but those Revans will be gone quick :-(

Especially if all you have to do to get one now is order a keychain with free shipping...
  • RakulRakul Member Posts: 183
I don't doubt that.  I won't be ordering a Keychain but I will be placing an order at 12:01 and hope for the best.

Folks, I'm lost. What is this star wars promo everyone is talking about? I checked the store flyers and there is nothing there for the 30th, only he advent calendar in October

@erequena Details on the Main page.

Man... S@H is going to be crashing like a muther at 12:01. Time for the new site to earn it's wings I guess.

It'll be great. Regardless of the update, the site will still go down at midnight, but the promo won't be available until 5 or 6 AM...

Then the site will crash again.

But props to Lego if that doesn't happen.

Who is Darth Raven....what is he from?  Is he one of the triple A characters to the big league club?
    .....Not for me, I guessing
  • erequenaerequena Member Posts: 52
I think he's from the Knights of the Old Republic videogame

That is one hell of a promo.  I'm guessing this is online and in store?  If that's the case I'll try to get an online order in and also make a trip to the local Lego Store early that morning to grab one.

A major character from Knights of the Old Republic (2004, video game). Revan is a Sith lord from 4000 years before the Original Trilogy.

I was very happy to get one the first time around. I'm glad they're re-using promos. IMO minifigs should never be rare enough to justify $20+ on the secondary market.

Current Mixels series is $3.98 now. Probably on the way out to make room for the final wave.

Nevermind, I see this is Series 8.  I guess series 9 hasn't been released yet.

I wasn't sure where to ask this so I'll ask here.  There is a new store opening near me.  I wanted to go in to get the mini Lego store promo.  Question is, anyone know or have experience how quickly these run out?  Do I need to go when the store first opens or can I take my time and go in couple hours after opening?  Do people wait in line for the store to open in the morning?  Thanks in advance.

Not S@H but at physicals LEGO Stores (or at least Anaheim), #41068 Arendale Castle Celebration is half off.
  • SprinkleOtterSprinkleOtter Member Posts: 2,779
I see some people saying that LEGO is re-releasing Revan. This is simply not the case. Revan has been available through CS since his first promo. LEGO would hand them out willy-nilly for mess-ups in orders, running out of the real promo, etc. Yoularen, too.
  • RakulRakul Member Posts: 183
@ReesesPieces If you are referring to the one in Pentagon City I am being told to expect a crowd worse than iPhone release day.  Elbow to elbow and stuff flying off the shelf.  I was going to go but decided to go to Potomac Mills that day instead hoping for less of a crowd.

    Thanks @Rakul.
Yes, I am talking about the pentagon city one.  I appreciate the heads up.

This is the first I've heard of the Darth Revan promo. Also 2x VIP on Star Wars that day. I have 386 VIP points, so even a small thing will get me to the next hundred. I like battle packs better than microfighters or constraction figures. I already have some #75132 First Order, and increased quantity is easier to handle than new items.

Just looked at the October calendar:
    http://cache.lego.com/r/stores/-/media/brand retail/stores/calendar/october/6217_oct16 cal_medres.pdf?l.r2=-722416464

2x VIP on everything all month! Finally seeing that again. I was spoiled because the last one happened soon after I came out of my dark age.

#40222 Holiday Countdown Calendar, 250 pieces, with orders of at least $99.

Maybe I'll finally get Brick Bank, perhaps I'll see what sales are running at the time either on the website or at the LEGO Store.

The new website works fine for me on my tablet (Kindle Fire HDX), and I will try for a small order on Force Friday.

Otherwise I am planning to brave the treacherous road construction and go to the B&M Lego store once or twice for double VIP in October. The last order from s@h was totally crushed - the seals popped open at one end of the set box, but luckily nothing was lost.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,352
Placed an order right after midnight, submitted like usual, screen was stuck on "We are processing your order. Please wait. We are Authorizing your payment information. This may take a few moments." Order Details (and my bank's website) looked right, but it took 15 minutes to get the email.
I loaded up my cart before midnight, I wonder if that confused the system.
I didn't see how to add a card outside of the order screen, but the card I wanted to use was already added.
Yes, the Darth Revan was listed.
  • SumoLegoSumoLego Member Posts: 15,239
Anybody else get a boatload of errors when trying to order SW-stuff at midnight?

I think I got an order in.  No clue.

I wish Lego would finally fix their friggin' website.  It's ridiculous!

Got the error "Sorry! An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact customer service." twice. Kind of frustrated, then I remembered why I don't shop LEGO online much. Credit card says it's processing... twice. So, maybe. I just want my Revan. Love KOTOR.

^ I tried a regular card and then PayPal.  It appears that my PayPal order went through.

No idea if the regular card did, though.

Same as everyone else, I was stuck on the "We are processing your order" message, charges looked good on my card. Just got the confirmation email. I was getting tons of errors while ordering, but I just stayed the course and got through it. Fingers crossed there are no glitches.

Dang I just tried online and it still says coming soon on the new stuff. I'm not gonna be able to get to my store tomorrow, I Would like the minifig before it's too late.

Got the same hung processing payment screen, but opened a new browser and saw my paypal payment cleared and LEGO had a processing order in place, as well as getting an email from LEGO, so it sounds like that processing payment page is just messed up

I only tried to place 1 order, with #75132 First Order Battle Pack like I planned on.
Last time I checked out with PayPal, I got hit with a foreign exchange fee*, so I used my card directly.

I got that when refreshing after midnight to make sure the promo was added.
To me, it's just a good deal for resale.

    * That time, I used PayPal to use my PP balance and use a card for the rest of the order. Apparently TLG was using a non-US PP account for their US site. I emailed CS right away, they said a refund was forthcoming. I followed up a couple months later - still no refund, so CS gave me 300 VIP points. They said they'd fix this going forward, but I'm not sure if they have.

Yes.  @Pumpkin_3CK5 - On all of the orders.

I also did a sizeable PaB order on two of my orders, so it apparently stacks with the Ultimate Laveria giveaway.

    !@#$%%^&&!!! I have 5 orders processing now!

I'll try to cancel some; if not, I guess I'll have some Revans to trade.

You guys think they'll restrict it to "1 Revan per household" like it says?
  • SumoLegoSumoLego Member Posts: 15,239
    ^ @JooTog - welcome to the club.

How is it possible for a billion dollar company to have such a problematic shop-at-home website?

    Mind boggling.

Maybe.  We'll see what customer service has to say tomorrow.  I really don't want two of Rey's Speeders and two extra BB-8 keychains.
  • JooTogJooTog Member Posts: 945
    @SumoLego I got nothing! Now it's 6 orders and I don't see a 'cancel' option.

I'm just gonna let it run its course and see how they handle this. Worst/best-case scenario I'll have a First Order Stormtroopers army and plenty of Revans to go around.

@BrickDancer They better... unless there are plenty of Revans around to fulfill all these orders!

    Happy holidays everybody!
  • dspigeldspigel Member Posts: 478
Yup, my order didn't go. However my paypal account said I sent them money.
  • Pumpkin_3CK5Pumpkin_3CK5 Member Posts: 805
I'm surprised that it let me place an order with Revan included. I thought I had to wait until 12am. Had to refresh a couple of times,  and on the last one it said my bag was empty lol. Had to click "check order status" to see that it was processing.
  • LegogramLegogram Member Posts: 321
I am currently showing 2 orders as in warehouse and 1 order in process.  LOL whatever that means.  Wish I had ordered something different when I closed and returned to try again.  I sure hope I finally get at least 1 Revan.
  • JooTogJooTog Member Posts: 945
Status update: 2 emails confirmations out of the 6 orders so far; orders #3 and #4. All 6 orders show now as "In Warehouse".
  • dspigeldspigel Member Posts: 478
Well I made a deal with the wife. She'll go to the Lego store in the morning to get me a few sets. All I had to do was the dishes tonight. I'd go myself but I have to work :(

I still had the sticking-on-"Processing your order" problem at 4:30 AM--although since I was using PayPal, I'm reasonably sure the order was placed exactly once. And Revan was still available, and did stack with Laveria. Best wishes to everyone else struggling with the site!

  • leetshoeleetshoe Member Posts: 262
l logged on this morning and none of the Rogue One sets are available. l thought they were supposed to be out today?
  • ecmo47ecmo47 Member Posts: 2,101
I got a confirmation email for my order but on the Lego.com webpage it stills says "We are confirming your order". Revan and Lavaria included.
  • RakulRakul Member Posts: 183
Same issues here, none of the Rogue One sets got marked available yet as of 6:30am.  I placed two orders because I thought the first one never went through, both are stuck on processing your payment, but just checked and got two confirmation emails.  Oh well hopefully at least one of them comes with a Revan poly when they actually ship.
  • leetshoeleetshoe Member Posts: 262
Ended up getting a keychain since l wanted the Revan but l had all the other Star Wars sets l wanted (other than the new Rogue sets). Their stupid website issues are costing them sales.
