I should note that this was my local Lego Store. I assume deals would be the same across the footprint, but not sure.
Interesting. If I didn’t have basically every component of the Assault on Hoth set already I would consider this.
Another $49.02 would be enough for a $99 promo (#40253 until the 15th, #40254 18th-19th or 24th-27th). I put that stuff in my cart now so I can move ASAP if I see 21312 back in stock.
link to the NASA set - out of stock now but going right to that page makes it easier to check if it's come back
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the Nutcracker promo gets extended beyond tomorrow, as long as supplies last.
Incase anyone missed it last year.
Based on my records, that is the price #40223 rings for when it was given as a promo ($9.99 followed by -$9.99 on the in-store receipt).
For the curious, the 2015-2017 holiday promos all came up $9.99 except for the Christmas Build-Up 24-in-1 sets which were $19.99.
Of course, BL and eBay gave you those options to acquire them sans minimum purchase at Lego, but if it's coming from the company themselves...I may have to pass on those promos more often.
I see the value of a promo as a sort of discount, needed to compete with TLG not using as many or as large straight-up discounts.
Got my order with Nutcracker today, that box was in surprisingly good condition, considering some [email protected] horror stories
Poor Fed-Ex driver delivered at 8:30 P.M. and scans had it on the truck since 7:30 A.M.! Holiday shipping must be in full swing.
