Call Customer service.  I have ordered 75172 but it is on backorder.  So I don't know if I am going to get the extra points, but I sure am going to ask CS now that I know it was in the store calendar.

I had to call to get the double points. The customer service person I talked with kept saying I did get double points but I explained that I only got single points and the 50 bonus points. She said the bonus points were in store only (which I know is not correct) and what I received was the double points. 

She ended up giving me the double points but was pretty rude about it. Definitely not the customer service I have have experienced in the past.

No, I didn't do the phone survey.  It asked me before I even talked to somebody and I pressed the number to no.  That will teach me to always press yes. 

I did go to the local LEGO store later that day and had great customer service; I would say even better than most visits.  So that kind of made up for the phone call. I did the survey for the store visit.

It appears it was calculated as such 39 + 50.

Got my May the Fourth order today. No R2 polybag in the box or listed on the invoice. It was in my shopping cart and listed in the confirmation e-mail.

Welp, I found it in a separate bubble mailer with its own invoice and an extra set of the Ninjago stickers.

Wonder what happened there.

Their shipping dept must've been chaos last weekend. I placed two orders after midnight early on the 4th.  The #75144 showed up with its R2 on Saturday. The #75153 and #75168 in the other order shipped separately and aren't scheduled to arrive until this Friday.

Got my R2's in bubble mailers and my SW sets in boxes. Its not the first time, and quite frankly it is better than them getting crushed to the LEGO box that is over stuffed.

I have two tracking numbers due to deliver on Thursday from my May the 4th order, so I guess that was how they sent them out.

Meanwhile, my order from Sunday to get the Milano is due to deliver on Saturday. Probably not if it's Fed-Ex to USPS.

Looks like my Ywing shipped, but didn't get the double points but did get the 50 bonus points.  Call to customer service coming up tomorrow.  I wonder if they will tell me that the purchase date shows as the ship date and that double points weren't in effect?

Got my last two May 4 packages via FedEx/USPS today, one day "early". For some reason the R2 poly came in a separate bubble pack, even though there was room in the box with the other two sets.

Annoyingly, my R2 shipment has gotten separated from the rest of my order, so maybe it will show up tomorrow. The set boxes were predictably damaged by putting the Battle Packs under #75171.

OK...took 10 minutes on the phone.  Had to walk the CS rep through the web site to see that there indeed was an extra 50 points for the Y-Wing as she didn't know and obviously didn't trust me.  By the way here is the link for anyone who needs it.  I tried to tell her that I didn't get the double points, but got the 50 point bonus; however, she assumed I didn't get the bonus and gave me another 50...so I got a whole 3 extra points.

Anyone know why #42064 Ocean Explorer still isn't available in the US yet? I just bought two of its baby brothers #31045 for $7 each on Amazon yesterday, and now I'm thinking I'd like a big one.

I was afraid TLG would think I was abusing the order limit by placing multiple orders for them, but apparently that was not a problem. I didn't place orders just for them but I often got them when ordering anyway. I stopped ordering already because I hadn't seen anything else to get. similar with other sales and deals items.

Does anyone know if there are any upcoming promotions on US [email protected]?  A friend has given me money to order him a Cinderella Castle so that I can get the points (awesome friend!) but I wasn't sure if there were any upcoming polybags or (dare I hope) double points since there are three weeks before he needs it.

I tried looking on the forum and googling it but haven't found much.

#40165 is now $7.99 limit 2, a mediocre deal, but good if you want it or need to make an order big enough for free shipping or a promo. no other big changes in sales and deals.

#5004932 Minifigure travel pack ($35 purchase) 1st-14th, tote bag ($199 purchase) 15th-30th

Most of the promo's accessories are beach themed, which would go well with the new set #60153 Fun at the Beach. I like the look of that, but #60134 Fun in the Park can now be found for about $10 off and I predict similar for 60153. Still, that might be the best way to get the promo if you don't see anything else you want. I'm considering #21309 Saturn V as well but when that goes on sale it will be a bigger discount even at the same proportions. Maybe I'll get another #21306 Yellow Submarine if it's still on sale.

#40165 was always limit two if I recall, unless they took them off a limit briefly.  Fun in the park has gotten to 25 off in some places, so yeah I will not be buying it at retail.

you're right 40165 has always been limit 2, I got it confused with most sets being limit 5.
about $10 off is an ordinary sale on 60134; I'm not surprised it's gotten even cheaper.
Yellow Submarine is back at full price now, though I wouldn't be surprised if it goes back on sale later.

I got online at 12am CDT, because I forgot about the release last night. Added to cart, and paid, used some points to get it under 100 USD, got the promos.. Took me about 5 minutes

I was planning to get it, as "promo" tingles an "I must have" reaction, but after seeing the picture at the website I am not so sure anymore... I mean, spend $199 for the bag?! $99 I would have not hesitated, but I think I rather wait for double VIP points in a couple of weeks to spend $199 (Silent Mary + Carousel).

The tote bag is of mentionable quality. It looks very nice, and it's quite hard to come by nice looking branded merchandise.

Now, unless you are going halfsies with someone (like I did) in order to get it, you may just be better off waiting for double VIP.

Heck they may just sell the leftover promos after a while like they did with the last bag some 5+ years ago.

Interesting piece of info, thanks! That was during my DA. I will pass then, as I already have other reusable bags, including the new reusable yellow bag they have now at the stores (at least at my local store) - $4.99 the big one; got it for $1.99 as a promo when I got the Saturn V.

I went in for the bag on day one.  Got the other promo from the beginning of the month as well, which would have made me feel even better about the investment, except (1) I already got it earlier in the month and (2) it was disappointing.  But I am excited about the bag!!!

 And you hit the $199 minimum?  For what it is worth, the bag showed in my cart as well as in my shipping confirmation.

Showed in my cart also but with just the item number and description.  No image included for the bag but did show images of the legoland ticket, passport/travel freebie and the Silent Mary.
