I was just unbookmarking a thread I had accidentally marked and was getting loads of notifications from and found some old off-topic threads that were pure gold, thanks in large part to the contributions of Patrick @Yellowcastle, Admin extraordinaire.  He's been MIA for ages now,  last active May 2014 apparently,  but he is definitely still missed (by me at least).

I feel like we need a "Wall of Honour " style thread for those members who no longer frequent this forum, but that we still miss.  Maybe LEGO is no longer a part of their lives for whatever reason but it's sad to think they might have disappeared forever without trace.

So for my part,  I miss you @Yellowcastle,  @atkinsar, @carlq.  I hope you're all doing OK even if you're no longer AFOLs :'(
I'm not expecting you to come on here and explain your absence or anything but just want you to know that you have not been forgotten.

Anybody else that you guys miss around this community?

(if anyone is interested,  these are the threads in question.  Pre-Offtopic category and hence condemned to sink without trace :-(

Out of interest @CapnRex101 Is it possible to move these threads to Offtopic and unsink them?

Yes, I'd kind of wondered where @carlq has gone. I've done numerous trades with him in the past - top fella. Also noticed that @margot has not been on for a while. She also helped me get some things from Stateside and was hoping I could repay the favour sometime.

@margot is missed here in North Yorkshire too, she was so lovely to Linda and myself during last years raffle and I've traded quite abit with her since but have tried several times to contact her without success, hope all is well?

Lovely @margot is doing just fine.  Busy doing what she does best..... being a good mum.  :)  I do miss her on here though.

We don't know what happened to @Yellowcastle. He had some health issues I believe and made a brief reappearance after some time away, but hasn't been seen since last year. I have him on Facebook but he doesn't post there, either.

Margot still checks in from time to time. I still keep in touch with her. She has discovered a life outside of LEGO.

I messaged @carlq sometime during May earlier this year, having spotted he was online, but no response unfortunately. Prior to that I had enjoyed several joke-filled messages with him (and possibly a trade or two). Thoroughly nice guy. Wherever life finds him, i hope he's okay.

I miss @Yellowcastle as well. I hope he is ok, but it doesn't sound good. My good friend was in ICU for a month (on his death bed) and he still managed to post on Facebook every now and then to let everyone know how he was doing.

I am hoping he pops in to say "I'm not dead, at least not yet" ala Obi Wan Kenobi
