I would so buy a pair of those if they were available.

"A side from a shot to the nards, and maybe child birth, few things in life are more painful than stepping on a stray, runaway LEGO piece"
Clearly they've never trodden on a UK 3-pin plug.

"these slippers have been specially designed for those specific moments you find yourself fumbling in the dark -- which is when most injuries from LEGO pieces result from."

Specially designed how? Aren't they just slippers with a lego logo on?

From the picture I thought they were a new way of picking up bricks of the floor.

(I see they're also 'interchangeable' so they're basically making one slipper).

Apparently the soles are extra reinforced to protect from the blocks.

I think I'd want extra soft soles. That protected my feet but also didn't risk damaging the lego.

But how are they against a d4?

I've got callouses on my feet from stepping on Lego countless times already. Don't think I can justify these now. :P

I get tired of the "step on a Lego" meme.....
