Don't these normally start popping up at local stores even earlier like toys r us and target?

^ Yes. The TRUs in my area are notorious for putting them out early. Sometimes they won't let you actually purchase them until Dec. 1, but it's never consistent. One year, they let me purchase 2 of the new Hobbit sets, but not the other 2. Weird, but whatever.

Just search for "coming soon" but some of them don't have pictures yet.
