Hanging a Falcon

Looking for some help with hanging a #75105 from a roof.

My sister got my nephew one for his birthday and like a good tfol/afol in the making wants to display it.  problem is he has no shelf space and wants to hang it from the roof and asked for my advice. My #7965 is still in my build pile so I don't know if it will be strong enough to be suspended from underneath.

Has anyone done this and if so any issues?  I wouldn't want it imploding on him!

The first problem you face is the fact that the undersides of these are generally not designed to be display worthy at all really.  You would want to hang it inverted to really appreciate it as a display

my biggest ship (sith futy class interceptor) hangs with a single (big) string with no problem. I have it go under the ship.

what I usually do is try different way to put the string and lift the model just a little from the floor to see how it works until I find the right way.

Use a eyelet screws with course threads and a stud finder and put the screws into available studs. Get a very strong fishing line. Double it or triple it and put it though some technic holes. They are usually used for the skeleton and strongest part of the ship.. the more lines you use to connect different points of the model to the ceiling  will help keep it stable and it won't wave around as much as the Ac or Heat kicks on

Thanks for the input. going to suggest trying to find 3 technic beam anchor points and using fishing wire. He has a slanted roof and wall so it shouldn't be hard having it in a side on 'swoosh' at eye level. I suspect I might have to go and help him though. Thankfully his Lego Xmas presents will be much easier to hang!
