FS UK HARRY POTTER SETS NEW AND SEALED PICK UP NORTH YORKS

CoyotelilyCoyotelily Member Posts: 661
Linda has asked me to sound everyone out about this, she's looking to sell her Harry Potter collection of new and sealed sets, all are in excellent condition and have been stored in plastic boxes to avoid any damage- she is hoping to sell it as a job lot and because she doesn't want to sustain any damage or missing parcels would like to make it collection only from Thirsk in North Yorks though we may be willing to deliver for fuel costs depending on area.

The sets She has are

10217 diagon alley
4841 hogwarts express
4866 knight bus
4867 hogwarts
4737 quidditch
4738 hagrids hut
4867 Hogwarts Castle

she's looking for fair offers but won't sell for daft price, and doesn't want to split the lot.

we'd love to hear what our fellow bricksetters feel this lot is worth

Thanks Jo and Linda

Do you have a ball park figure you are after, i imagine it won't be cheap considering what's included.

What do you think, I'm thinking £1000 based on average current selling prices

Without checking them all, i'd imagine that's a pretty fair price, I can't really justify that much, when i'd only really want 1 or 2 and have to sell the rest off myself.

A great opportunity for someone who wants to start or add to a Harry Potter collection though, good luck with the sale.

    About a grand sounds right.

My 8 year old has just got into Harry Potter and is very sad she can't get all the sets she hears about. She will have to made do with the DK Lego Harry Potter book I bought her :) plus a couple of polybags. And a Friends set or two.

I do have individual pictures too but would be too big a file. Just one thing to note, although all boxes are in excellent condition the large HOGWARTS castle has developed a crease on the left hand side which you can see on the picture.
