Sounds like NEXO is on the way to NA exclusivity...
Well, US and Canada do get the sets earlier than the rest of the world - S05 sets are now available in the Lego shop.

@Kerre I think EU got season two and some other sets ahead of the US back when it was released,  so I guess they alternate.

Has anyone spotted wave two of the nexo power packs or has that not ever shown up in North America?

It seems they were never planned to, seeing as the whole Combo NEXO Shields thing is done in the 2018 sets.

Nexo Knigts Build Your Own Adventure book is $7.84 on Amazon right now. That's 69% off. For anyone who might want Robin's battle suit mech.

^Limited retail availability seems more and more likely.

The 2018 electronic catalogues are out and they don't even mention Nexo Knights any more.
Here's the table of contents of the French one (could not find the English one yet:

    Same but in Dutch

So is Nexo Knights appearing to be a Chima situation but perhaps cut off at a more appropriate time?

Depends what you mean by "Chima situation". The new sets and story arc have not yet been covered by the TV series, unlike Chima (in which the final year's sets were based on the previous year's final story arc).

I do think it looks like this may be the last year of Nexo Knights—the current sets have an air of finality to them—but three years has been a pretty typical lifespan for a media-based theme (see also Exo-Force, Knights Kingdom, Mixels... heck, it almost happened to Ninjago if it had not been wildly more successful than predicted). In fact, it's not too atypical for a castle theme to be replaced once three years are up (every past castle theme for the past decade or so has been on a three year cycle, even if not all of them reached that three year mark).

well that tell me that a big part of the fan bace is in the uk. and/or the USA markit place. i still plan on getting them. as i have all of set the the last 2 years and i am only missing small polybags, polybags have been harder to find in the last year. in 2016 i cound find them more easy.

I enjoyed it because my son did. Looking forward to building the Knighton Castle. The year three wave was pretty lackluster though.

@Pumpkin_3CK5 That big one is awesome - surely a MOC, not a set? :)

It was a nice surprise to see this thread pop up - I didn't take to the last wave myself, but I enjoyed the first year in particular enormously. I think I've still got a couple of the smaller sets left to build...

I personally loved Nexo Knights. The last wave was really bad though, it seemed like they made a decision to release something but didn't want to risk big sets due to the lack of performance in the second season.

The lack if color in the second season was a real killer. I liked the idea, but my kids didn't like all the grey.

I also think it would have done better if they had done the story better in the show. They chose to have bumbling bad guys and that was a bad decision. They should have gone all in with heroic good guys and truly evil bad guys like Ninjago. Too bad.

Thanks! The official Stone Colossus was hardly colossal, and when I saw it rise in the show and march towards the castle wreaking havoc all over Knightonia, I knew I had to build one lolz.

@eggshen I liked the mix of gray and purple of the second season, along with the whole lightning and thunderstorms bringing stone monsters to life. Although I can see how the color scheme might come off as bland for kids haha.

Now I can only imagine what the last few sets are.
