Merry (Happy) Christmas!
The response from my wife was "hmmm".
They are just resting on a 52x100 stud lenticular mosaic of Starfire and xx from Teen Titans Go that I made some time ago. I just turned it round for the photo.
https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-6006/raskolnikov/plus-size-at_at/#details — BTW, the building instructions are free I believe...
I've got a few in small acrylic display cases, but it's hard to fit more than 3-4 per case unless I go with a larger case that then becomes a lot of wasted height. Some sort of shadow-box style display might be more efficient, but I'm not sure if there are any good options for the typical depth of the micro fighters.
Does anybody have one of these display frames who could check to see how well micro fighters would work in it--I can't tell if it's deep enough? https://digsforfigs.com/product/minifig-display-frame-black/
I could use the baseball bat cases that I have my Brickheadz in, but I don't have a ton more wall space for their length, and I think they would also have a decent amount of wasted height--although I can resolve some of that by using trans pieces to have the microfighters at varying heights and overlapping a little. Still far from ideal though.
Now I'm avoiding building more, because that same shelf now has my Harry Potter minifigure collection.
"Space, the final frontier".
I've added a few SW polybags or minibuilds to fill it up. But I'm pretty sure only this years sets are going to fit in it now.

The other three waves I got two full sets while they were on shelves.
I didn't realize there was A New Hope remake with John Cena and Robert DeNiro.
I've thought about trying to rebuild the Microfighter builds in LEGO The Force Awakens in Digital Designer, but my main laptop is down for some work and I still have the LEGO Jurassic World models to finish first.
I can’t be the only one who read that and immediately thought - wait, more retconning - that lightsaber is Kenobi Senior’s?
The same thing happened yesterday with the Gingerbread House.
How many times in the movies various Jedi bemoan that Force-sensitive children were too old? Anakin, Luke, Rey...
With #75300 having 432 pieces for $40 now, I extrapolate a TIE Bomber with around 600 pieces for about $60. And put it in Rogue One packaging! Fight me! :)
Those were not TIE/sa Bombers but TIE Boarding Craft. The same vehicles are used during A New Hope when Stormtroopers are boarding the Tantive IV, ferrying troops between the hangar floor and the docked corvette.
Sorry again but knowing as much as possible about Star Wars is my job! :o)
I should mention, by the way, that I completely agree about the TIE Bomber costing around $60 to match #75300 Imperial TIE Fighter and I am confident that will happen. LEGO definitely knows that fans are hoping for a new TIE Bomber!
