The new Scout Walker might join my collection, otherwise it's a total pass for me, at least what's been seen so far.

@Lordmoral I didn't care for the TFA sets much either. Kept waiting for the grey/blue color scheme X-Wing to be released, then when it did... meh. XD

I bought a couple of sets from the FA line (Snowspeeder, Micro X-Wing, Rey Speeder, the two BP and the FO Troop Carrier.

Anybody have the newer General Grievous from Grievous' Wheel Bike? He's been sitting in a drawer for 2 years and all four arms have lost their clutch. They barely hang on and are knocked off at the slightest touch.

I haven't really experienced something like this before with a Lego product. I then went and made it worse by breaking one of the arms by trying to squeeze the two clip ends a little closer together. By weird coincidence I see today we are getting a new Grievous figure next year. I wonder if it will be the same fig.

Has anyone noticed that Lego has put Commander Cody's bio back up on Lego.com, but with the old picture? Could that mean we'll be getting a new Cody soon? https://www.lego.com/en-us/starwars/characters/clone-commander-cody-ec435e500a2348de9adf72f08b5d5b90

As far as star wars goes this video had a picture that shows an Emperor hologram part, is this in the actual set?

Yes. But it isn't specifically the emperor. It can be any caped & hooded character you want.

Ahh ok that's what I kind of figured. Oh well at least those holograms will go down a little bit.

The Snoke hologram should really be a super-big bigfig - based on the gigantic projection from TFA.

Triple points on everything Star Wars on Force Friday 1-3 september at S&H.
  • dmcc0dmcc0 Member Posts: 778
^Also Selected Star Wars Items on sale soon too. Although the email didn't say it coincided with the 3x points
  • kbwkbw Member Posts: 421
So the [email protected] site I see (which is US) says Double VIP, not triple
  • CommanderJigglypuffCommanderJigglypuff Member Posts: 63
EU gets triple. Don't know what to expect from the sale, but here in the Netherlands we got 50% off (at every retailer you can find, not on [email protected]) on the following sets until the end of september (most of them all already sold out everywhere):

    Battle of Takodana
    Carbon Freezing Room
    Encounter on Jakku
    FO battle pack (old one)
    Resistance Transport
    Kylo's Shuttle
    Clone Turbo Tank
    Krennic's Shuttle
    Rey's Speeder
    Kylo's Shuttle
    Tie Striker
    AT-ST
    Imperial Hovertank
    Captain Rex's AT-TE
    Eclipse Fighter
    Poe's X-wing
    U-wing
    FO-TIE
    The Phantom
    Rebel Trooper Battle Pack
    Krennic Shuttle Microfighter
    Imperial trooper Battle Pack
Scout Trooper & Speeder Bike (75%)
All Rogue One and some TFA buildable figures (70%)

So maybe [email protected] will give discounts on these sets as well, but that's just a guess.

The Scarif Trooper polybag will be available with purchases €30+ and the First Order Walker with €55+

Thanks. I believe the mailer mentioned the UCS TIE Fighter would be on sale too. Other than that, do you think we could see anything on other UCS sets?

Is the SW Calendar likely to be in the triple points promo?

Looking forward to getting some rogue one sets on discount, hopefully

The price of the scout walker peeves me a bit, back when I was a kid you could get a SW set of that size for quite a bit less. To me $37.00-$40.00 would have been much more reasonable. Side note, that Chewbacca BAF looks nice apart from the ugly gaps at the knees.

Yeah, pricing always seems weird to me, but as long as it's under .10c per piece I'm usually ok with it.  I am new to Lego (outside of when I was a kid) so I am not as shocked at pricing I guess.

Anyone else see the picture with that has two phase 2 clones , a new Ki Adi mundi and Coleman trbeor in a battle pack?

  • JooTogJooTog Member Posts: 945
@CM4S Box size same as #75148.

@starwars4ever Those were the only two new sets and there were only two #75177 and one Chewie. The $32.32 is for Chewie; there was no tag for the walker and I did not bother to check on a scanner (there are few and far apart) as I was not going to buy it.
  • HanzoHanzo Member Posts: 607
Just a tip for Walmart, download the mobile app, it lets you check the price without having to hunt down a scanner in the store.  My stores (and I am sure most) are notorious for missing price tags.

Yup. If the clones are just plain Phase II, then that would be awesome.

Even though the sets are on the shelf they may not let anyone buy them until Friday. It happened to me at Target last year before the Rogue One sets were released.
  • Mr_CrossMr_Cross Member Posts: 1,689
I think I want the walker, the star destroyer, the bomber and about three of the little shuttle thing with Finn and Rose... want a couple of those canopies for classic space mocs! I can see myself picking up the whole wave though... don't know where the money will come from, especially after the Falcon wipes me out of all my Lego cash for the next three years!

The Chewbacca review seems to have been removed from the front page. Someone on Reddit is reporting that Lego's legal department got in touch with video reviewers and ordered them to remove reviews - despite them buying the sets from stores!

Noticed the removal of that review as well. Whilst I understand why TLG did that, I don't agree. The ones Lego's legal department should have a stern talking to is Target/Smyths/whoever, who put those sets on the shelf + allowed people to buy them, even though I'm sure the shipping boxes had huge "don't put on shelf prior to Sept 01" stickers on them...

Big box retailers break street dates all the time, it's easier to pick on/intimidate a youtuber than a multi billion dollar company.

Jangbricks had a bunch of videos reviewing the TLJ sets.  They've all been taken down and he's posted a video explaining why (threat of legal action).  Bit annoying as I hadn't actually watched them yet!

^odd. If I were Lego I'd appreciate the reviews to get hype up!

Yeah, I had only watched one, so guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for the others now...

Having watched Jang's review of the Resistance Bomber the other day, I'm really loving it. I love the Resistance's aesthetic vibe anyway, but 75188 is so polished in a way I can't remember the last Lego set that matches that standard - It has every feature you'd expect from a capital ship, and a full crew of figs to complement it. I know that doesn't seem like much, but I genuinely can't think of any other sets that are just so complete.

    Really love the Bomber.

Yeah, sometimes we forget we're dealing with a huge international company here. There are so many people involved with the companies operations that there's no way everyone can be on the same page all the time.  Whoever sent Jang for instance the warning to take everything down probably has no idea about stores breaking street dates left and right, or that even some of their own stores are selling the sets.

Well, Legoland, including the store = Merlin. So technically that's just another partner TLG needs to have a stern talking to.

^ I think Lego is scared Merlin will say "Fine! If you're so bothered, you run the theme parks!" and they'll be paralysed with fear as that is just a money pit if done badly, and we all know how Lego can do financial things badly...

Love the new Millennium Falcon, but *ouch* €850 is a hefty price tag for a Lego set, even though this isn't just any Lego set.
  • ImABrickManNowImABrickManNow Member Posts: 270
I just gotta say, the prices of Lego SW sets in the last few years is one of the most infuriating things to me. I understand that its a licensed theme and its gonna cost more to produce said sets, what with the cost of licensing and all, But come on, their selling some really small sets for double the price of what they would have been in the 90s/early 2000s. Needless to say I'm still a devoted Lego Maniac.
