Anybody got print quality issues in the instruction book ? Mine has some on last pages on bag 14. It looks like when bubblejet printer head goes dry, pictures are striped (gaps in print lines). Some of the light gray part looks as dark grey from mid of the page.

    Oh, and my fingers hurt...

^call customer service if it's an issue and they will make it right for you.

I've just finished bag 12, and bag 11 was lacking a small part (actually substituted). I was missing a 1x1 LBG block with front stud that clips the outer masonry mouldings, but there was a plain block with no stud there that I had to use, so that moulding is fixed with one stud instead of 2. There's nowhere to have made a substitution mistake in bag 11. So I've had 2 absent parts, both parts have been substituted with something else.

you should phone lego on Monday.
    and request missing parts.
it will take time to get to you but GBHQ is not a set to have substituted parts in more so when said substituted part is not the right type.
you have payed a lot of money for this model, wrong or missing part's is not right.
both my #71006 and #71016 set's had miss colored part / bad prints. and lego was happy to send out replacement parts.

I've got bags 13 and 14 to do and then the model is done. Might do them tomorrow. Once I know what is missing in total i'll request the right parts. So far it is the aforementioned 1x1 LBG block with stud and a 2x4 DBG tile that forms the top skin of the second floor (allowing easy separation).

Does make you wonder what might be missing in those MISB sets people keep for years and then build/sell, if it's anything rare/unique to that set then you're screwed. Imagine paying £2500 for an untouched #10179 and discovering one of the grey rigging pieces or the printed dish missing.

^But if you are paying that much, a lot of them might be keeping them sealed, so no one will be the wiser... only those "fools" that open up a collectible will be gutted!

I went to the LEGO store the other day and picked this set up just to get a fell for it. Wow....blown away by how heavy it is.  Just another check on the list of reasons why I am getting this.  Clearly one of the largest LEGO sets to date.
