There's a BOGO 50% off on TRU.com going on right now. Flew under the radar. On-line only. Dunno how long it lasts. It seems to apply to quite a few sets, including some marked down (unfortunately not the Red Cargo Train).

Pet Shop and Fire Brigade were both available briefly, I had 2 in my cart but kept browsing for too long, when I went to check out they were removed from my cart... figured they sold out. Oh well, didn't really need those, still need Grand Emporium though.

It's amazing how long the Grand Emporium has been out-of-stock at TRU. Seriously, I think it's been 3-4 weeks.

I gave up in irritation, everything is out of stock, the last thing I tried was the Medeival Market Village, it says only 2 per customer, so I put 2 in my cart but it takes one out and gives me this message,

^--- TRU has had this absurd rule in effect for a while now, but what is maddening is the item itself says limit 2 but then the cart says limit one.. TRU really needs to get on the ball...

I just emailed them and asked WTH! I am already not excited about them and the way they ship items, plus their return policy sucks, if I buy it online and it arrives damaged I can't just return it to a store, they will only give merch. credit. I have to send it back to them and they have to verify it is damaged enough or I have to pay the return shipping. I think I have had enough of this company.

Too many good deals this week! Just picked up the City Harbor, which is already $10 off, and the Forest Police Station for $105 shipped, compared to $170 retail. Plus that earns $10.50 in Rewards dollars that I will recieve in January.

I just couldn't do it... Toys R Us has already gotten over $400 (5 orders of about $80 each) from me this week with the sales, the $10 GC coupon, and the free display case deal. I did find a couple of deals that were surprises: the one store about an hour from me had a few Brickbeards Bounty left for $43 each, and also had a water-logged Hillside House for $30 (box was ruined, but pieces were al there, verified by construction).

Now with [email protected] pulling on my funds, some of my TRU purchases seem unnecessary.

@Ma1234 - I would recommend logging into your Rewards account to see how tgey calculated your rewards off that purchase. I myself have been surprised before...

It's 10% back. Typically sale items are counted as half a rewards point, but not during this promotion.
