Combining two Hobbit 79017 sets?

Has anyone tried combining two of the 79017 battle of the five armies sets? I like the tower and section of bridge, but wonder if it would look more "complete" with two bridges connected with a tower on each side?

For those who don't know, this is what I'm talking about combining. Surely someone has tried it?

I am pretty sure you'd need at least 10 of them to make it more "complete"

I still haven't gotten my first one yet but I imagine combining two would definitely add to the overall look. You should be the one to try it and see how it looks! :-)

Since the siege engine piece is one of the best I've seen and will look good in any castle setting, I decided to try it. Will let you know how it works out.

Hahaha, well there goes the credibility of my post if there ever was any.
I think I'll go "brush up" on how to properly use autocorrect.

I don't have this set, so I did a quick build in LDD, only the main building and bridge:

And the left over stack (23 bricks):

^ That looks great.  Would probably have to purchase a few more roof tiles to properly finish them off, but otherwise very nice.

That looks pretty good! I have the second set but haven't had time to do anything with it yet. I was trying to imagine how difficult it would be to have both towers angled the same direction (both angled slightly forward, as in original set).

@Huw - Can we correct the title of this discussion to "Combining" instead of "Combing"?

Although it makes me chuckle every time to read it, I think it takes away from the discussion.

    Thanks!
