Predictions on Revival of Discontinued Sets & The Secondary Market Value Of the Originals

VortexVortex Pakistan/USMember Posts: 342
The coming back to life of the Winter Village Toy Shop has spurred a lot of conversation debate, opinions.

This could be a one off but the success of this experiment could also prove to be the game changer. Lets not forget that the just discontinuing UCS X-Wing was also pretty much a rehash . So should we be expecting such anomalies now and then

Thought id introduce the flip side of  (and inspired by the ever popular )" Predictions on Discontinuing Sets..." thread .

On the topic ,Personally i have to admit that the Toy Shop was a peculiar choice to start. I am sure TLG could not have run out of ideas already with this theme , most of us would have bet on a modular or UCS Falcon. Maybe this was an inexpensive experiment for TLG. Its not the priciest set ,the Toy Shop, but it was sought after and belonged to a prominent/popular series.

So, knock yourself out folks, lets have some revival predictions

Well you tell me ? I thought we could use a single consolidated thread on the topic and its foreseeable affects on the the after prices of their originals.

Maybe this is already redundant...power to the people

I am sure the other thread could quickly spiral into this arena without blinking an eye. That thread has covered a much wider range of topics.
