There will be some people who get burnt on something like this sooner or later. They'll buy something that's "going to massively increase in value" and it won't. I'm not sure I'd honour them with the title of "reseller" though, evil or otherwise.
No, I am not making any predictions whatsoever about the market for, or price of, the Death Star.
Once this does sell out, I'd expect the price to go up quite a bit. I'm also expecting the next DS to be a UCS and so a model and not a play set. I'm also expecting the price to be higher than $400 as Lego's prices have been going up as of late. However, none of this matters to me since I got the set I wanted and I'm glad I didn't miss it at list price (minus the VIP points).
Same set; snazzy box; smart marketing - #75159 would sell like hot cakes at the moment; and an EOLed #10188 wouldn't.
