Ferris Wheel - potential deaths

So, I just put on my first four cars on the Ferris Wheel. One pair of cars (across from each other) seem to be hitting the base on it's way around but the other two are fine.

Has anyone else had this happen? Everything seems to be connected properly but I'm stumped.

Make sure all of the technic spokes are pushed in toward the center of the wheel and make sure your botom ramp thing is arched as flat as possible in a V shape.

I was expecting this to be about some new activist group protesting the Lego Ferris Wheel set for some idiotic reason.

@graphite - thanks for responding. I did that. Also made sure that the doors were closed on the cars. I only have four cars on there so far. Don't want to have to remove all of them if there is a problem.

I have it so the two cars (on yellow spokes. don't  know if it matters) are barely knicking the 2x2 studs on the outermost ramp pieces but it is still hitting them.

Exactly that, brilliant title for the thread.  I was half expecting a @samiam391 style photo with a minifig clinging onto the bottom of one of the cars a whole 12 inches above a table top.
