I looked away for a minute when Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle was there and missed it! My job is interfering with my LEGO shopping again...

I just read a thread on a general deals site. Someone reported being around number 500 on the waiting list about 10 minutes in, so there are a lot of people trying to get in on the deal.
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
$30 for a 600 part kit is a good deal, even more so being Star Wars.

Ok, I'll confess, I got in on the deal, I work from home and was sitting here waiting, I clicked on add to cart as soon as it showed up, by the time I clicked through the cart and came back, it was 100% claimed.

    So it was VERY fast...

    Oh well...

So which "farm" set do you expect the next deal to be? I don't even know of any current farm sets out right now. Mill Village Raid is loosely a farm but not really.
  • andystarandystar Member Posts: 275
I think the farm deal is a Duplo set, http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Big-Tractor-5647

Damn, didn't even consider Duplo. Thanks.
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
Oh, that would be cool if it was Duplo, need that too! :)
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
Grr, just missed it, was busy on the phone... :)

I'd have bought that one too, $11.99 for that seems like a fair price.

Oh well, I'm on the wait list, but over 100, so unlikely to get it. :(
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
Yikes, finally got it... Worked the way down the waitlist, just bought it. :)
  • DavidBrickleyDavidBrickley Member Posts: 363
Given the clues, I guess the next one will be 7984 - Deep Sea Raider?
  • OdinduskOdindusk Member Posts: 763
Yeah, 99% sure it has to be that. That set has an idle piece of gold armor.
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
Yep, it is... Just bought it. :)
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
Wow, 100% claimed, just like that...
  • bluelion3bluelion3 Member Posts: 156
Any guesses for "Battle for weapons and glory"? Heroica? Kingdoms?
  • DavidBrickleyDavidBrickley Member Posts: 363
Probably a Ninjago set... isn't that the point of the spinners?
  • oboeoboe Member Posts: 11
I'm hoping for something ninjago also.
  • oboeoboe Member Posts: 11
My guess is this set. LEGO Ninjago Spinjitzu Dojo 2504.
If you look at the description it says ", or will Nuckal escape with the weapon--and the glory?"

This is just speculation on my part.
  • sidersddsidersdd Member Posts: 2,432
They take the text from the product descriptions. Just google "Amazon" "lego" and the blurb from the deal. You'll get a match on the item which will be offered.
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
Well bummer, it wasn't 2504, shame because a nice discount on that set would be great... What's with all the cheap $15 sets being on here? Give us the love with the expensive stuff...
  • OdinduskOdindusk Member Posts: 763
I was lucky enough to get the Atlantis set. Wasn't a HUGE deal but good enough for me to bite. I'm collecting the theme anyway so I probably would have paid more later for it.

Wow. I watched the countdown and clicked on the duplo airport the second it became available and was #292 on the wait list. Seriously?? Did they even actually have any for sale?
  • datkiddedatkidde Member Posts: 108
The Bricks & More Airport was the only deal I got. Perfect for my 3 year old who doesn't want Duplo bricks. He wants to play with the ones daddy "plays" with.
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
I was out picking up a pizza, I had to use my cell phone this time, clicked on it the second it counted down, but sat there processing for about 30 seconds, over 500 on the wait list... Oh well...

I actually already have the airport thing, but at $12, I'd take another one. :)
  • LegoFanTexasLegoFanTexas Member Posts: 8,404
    Wow, waiting worked...

Took almost 20 minutes, but I just got it for $12. Sheesh! I was over 500 on the wait list too...
  • macmonmacmon Member Posts: 80
    That was super fast.
