Hello everyone...

Hi thought I'd sign up here as I've just dug out all my old Lego sets from my parents loft (I'm 35 now lol) threatened to throw them away!

anyway they are all well played with and old, but hopefully that won't exclude me from here? Are people generally just collectors of new in unopened box? If so apologies for wasting your time ha

I'm just trying to work out how many bits are missing and if I can replace them still

hello btw

Welcome. I open all my sets and build then and gut some sets for the Minifigs. You can go to bricklink.com and buy specific pieces and check the catalog for which pieces you need.

Many thanks for the advice will have a look. Do they still make parts for old sets? I have an M-Tron set that is missing a few pieces!!

They don't make them. Ppl sell parts. Just browse around the site, get use to the functions, and search. You'll be shopping in no time

    Hi @Nik-ed
There are plenty of 'Buy the set, vacuum seal it and never let it see the light of day until it's risen 2000% in value' type people around here, but the vast majority buy, open, build, MOC, drop bits down the back of the sofa and generally have fun with Lego.

    Welcome to Brickset!
