Nice Parts Usage! Week Four: Bowling!

Good morning, and welcome to Nice Parts Usage!, the new game in the forum. In this game, I will pick out a brick and you will come up with clever new ways to use it or show ways you have used it before. Unfortunately, I cannot provide prizes at this time, but you may donate a polybag or something to the winner. You will have all week to submit entries and I will choose the winner next Sunday and start the next episode.

This week's part is also from my suggestions box and was suggested by @dannyrww . Behold:

The Minifig, Utensil Dish. I can't provide more information because I can't seem to be able to find it on Brickset, so if someone could post a link, that would be superb. Is it a bowl? Is it a plate? Is it the "spork" of dishes? You decide in this week's episode of...

Nice Parts Usage!

Brickset lists it as part of the "Kitchen Accessories" group 6037810. it is only found in friend sets, and The Simpson house.

hmm, is there a difference between the one included in the kitchen accessories? and 6256? if not, then there are plenty of sources for them (far more than I realized)

Stupid random, quick off the bat LDD entry...

Just goes to show you that, at the very least, Friends is great for part selections.

The piece in the Friend's accessory pack is different...it a is a thin plastic and not as rounded....I only know because I got some in the Big Bang Theory set.

Isn't this piece in the Indiana Jones marketplace set in a metal color?
And is the same piece included with the Taco Vendor CMF ?

Another exciting element, I never used (except off course as a dish...), might be tricky. I'll try though -

I've got a pile of these in dark orange and pink (thanks to my daughters). I have no idea what to build yet (skeet shooting came to mind but i think that is more me trying to be humorous like last week's Joker one).

Got one from the Friends caravan set and one from the Simpsons House. They're rather pretty

@Fauch Hey, that's pretty cool. What kind of light is that? A stage light or a steampunk lamp? Or something else?
  • FauchFauch Member Posts: 2,662

^^The way that those Friends (and older Belville) animals look upwards like that is just asking for a MOC like this. Brilliant.

Thanks gang, glad you like it.

@Fauch I connected the plishes (to coin a phrase) to droid arms and the entire assembly snaps onto a pole. I've inserted a picture for reference

I won't declare the winner until later, but I think we all know who it is.
  • LordofLegoLordofLego Member Posts: 310
And the winner is... @rdflego ! Who'd have guessed? That was a complete and total surprise. Congratulations!
