Issue with [email protected] Address, wrong city showing

Yesterday, I was checking the Fedex tracking of my latest [email protected] order and noticed that the destination of the package was to the wrong city. I checked my order and while my name, address, zip and state were correct the city was not.

I called LEGO to let them know, while they fixed the city on the previous orders (and notified Fedex of the mishap) I still had to change it in my profile.

The city was Enfield (like the LEGO HQ in CT), my previous order on 6/28 also had the error in the city (I didn't notice and it was delivered properly) and the one before on 6/11 had the right city. My order arrived today (one day delay) with the wrong city on the shipping label.

Just a weird situation...

because you said that I went to look at my email confirmation for the Bricks & Pieces order I made this morning and it is shipping to Enfield, TX! So weird. They have got to get it together with their crappy website. If it is not one thing it is another.

Well, I had a recent order delivered to Enfield, CA, with no delays.  Just shows that the delivery companies don't pay attention to the city name.

I would not be worried about the orders delivered by Fedex but those going through USPS like PAB, etc as they are quicker to return to sender for an invalid address.

Mine was Enfield a couple of weeks ago too.  I noticed and fixed it.

Generally, all shippers including the big 3 here in the US go by the zip code since it tells them everything they need to know. So an incorrect city doesn't even get acknowledged.

Thanks for pointing this out, while the city "magical" update might not have much of a delivery impact beside a little bit of delay what if next time it is the zip or the address. I guess from now on I will double check my profile address before I place any order.

While I am sure that if a package is mis-delivered because of that issue, LEGO would make it right, I would rather avoid the hassle all together.
