Nice trick on the Skeleton Bowling. It MSRPs for $29.99. TRU currently has it as a "List Price" of $34.99 and marked down to $29.99. Their "50% Off" gets it down to $19.99. Huh?

And finally, Buy 2 for $5 on CMF 5.


Gotta clear them CMF 5s out to make way for CMF 6 of course.

That seems like a good price on the Lego TRU Truck, is it that price every year?

^ A little over a year ago when that set came out it sold for $39.99 when the similar yellow truck was selling for $29.99. Then right around the holiday season they jacked it up to $49.99, and I believe it's been that ever since. I'd say take advantage of this offer on the TRU truck. It's a good deal. And actually, the way things are going, there might be a 1 or 2 day BOGO at the end of the week that might stack with this.

^--- Actually I think the TRU truck was initially 35 bucks until they could not get them in the stores and they constantly sold out online then they started raising the price.

Hmm might be a good time to get some army building figures from CMF 5. Then again a TRU employee once told me he saw series 4 in the dollar bin at a Michaels, or was it marshalls?

I was going to head off to TRU today... guess today will be a scouting trip, since this sale doesn't start until Sunday.

When I check online, it's not showing any inventory of the TRU truck in any of my local stores. I didn't keep a close enough eye on this set (or TRU inventory) to know if they were out of stock prior to the sale.

Does anyone know if the the new 25% off is stacking with the 30% off on 8038 Battle of Endor that should still be an effective price? It looks like it doesn't online, so I suspect the B&M stores are not allowing it either.

They were sold out of the display cases at my TRU. They said they planned to have more during the week and could bring in my receipt to get one. Picked up a couple of TRU trucks. I've got an extra if anyone wants to purchase/trade.

It's been non-stop purchasing lately. And my Bricklink store has been hopping like crazy. I'm hoping to have time tonight to return messages to those that I've been in contact with. I have a bunch of photos of new items to take still as well. I keep telling myself I'll get caught up. I'm just glad the Star Wars and Super Heroes sets aren't out yet - I'd have zero sleep.

Is the $25 TRU truck an "ok deal" or is it so smoking that even a non-City collector should grab one just for value?

The small minifigure display case is tempting. I have the large one in black, and I'm impressed with the quality. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the small ones in black at any TRU, and the stock has consistently been low on these at my local TRU...
