Am I detecting sarcasm? It better be 50% off or more to be worth all the fuss they've been making.  Hopefully there will be something substantial on sale tomorrow.

If you are on the fence about getting it, you better get it soon because I imagine once the Heavy Haul Train bows in the US, The Blue Cargo trains days are numbered. There's only 92 copies left in Europe. I am sure no more are being made at this point.

  • matticus_bricksmatticus_bricks Member Posts: 651
I think that Ice Cream Machine deal was pretty good, I hope to see something similar. Just not while I'm at work and have to find covert ways to keep looking at my phone. I'm just happy I'm getting an LotR Extended Trilogy Blu-Ray for $27.99.

Seems like the whole thing is more of a dressed up summer clearance event for stuff they are having trouble getting rid of than it is exciting deals.

Id be surprised if LEGO stopped the #60052, Im guessing the heavy haul will be like the #3677 from a few years ago.

FYI, #60052 is available at amazon right now for $156.34

I wouldn't bother looking for Lego discounts on Amazon uk today, in fact, not til September. We've had a worse prime day than you, unless you want duplo!

1200 views and 22 comments says it all. No deals to be had today, though I don't think people were expecting much.

LEGO Bricks & More Building Plate 628 at 11 eastern time. probably the best deal of the day.
  • ColoradoBricksColoradoBricks Member Posts: 1,659
I bought some #628-3 on Amazon a few months ago for $11.19 let's see if that deal is better...
  • namzepnamzep Member Posts: 42
Well, that was impossible to get.
  • teal93mr2teal93mr2 Member Posts: 1,009

Oh no hopefully it's not a complete disaster like last time.
  • rd1899rd1899 Member Posts: 210
^Yeah.  I did buy one item last year that we actually needed  (a UPS for a computer), which was marked down 25%/$17 from the everyday price as part of a Lightning Deal, so it wasn't a complete waste.

After last year's debacle, this time around may make or break this "tradition".

I expect that there will be better deals this time.
But to say I have no doubts is just plain lying.

look like it going to be the ssame as last year junk junk and more junk
  • Sethro3Sethro3 Member Posts: 981
So far it looks like an easy pass. Outside of food, LEGO is the only thing I purchase, so if they don't have deals on sets I want, then I guess I could go buy more food?
  • dougtsdougts Member Posts: 4,110
the $30 off $150, combined with some 20% off sales bad.
  • LegoboyLegoboy Member Posts: 8,825
Surely the hype of Prime Day is just to get new members signed up before the day?  Once they've signed up and the day comes, it doesn't then matter if they sell shite.
  • dougtsdougts Member Posts: 4,110
    of course that's the purpose.

With the anticipated discount on the Tie Fighter and the recent sales on it at Walmart, I can only think one thing. What happened to the no discount for exclusives policy from Lego?

$146 and $155 on Amazon Saturday morning.  It was a good deal for those who don't pay sales tax and were blessed with the 10% off Store Card promotion this weekend.

The supply chain must be choked with TIE Fighters and they need to get rid of them.

Who hasn't bought the Lego movie yet? They should be giving that away at this point.
