Check your KMart clearance?

My store has 75% off clearance toys. Found a few unmarked LEGO sets... nothing great, but some old Chima things like 70002 and 70007 rang up for $5.96 each. Then when I went to the register, I had $7 of those SYWR "surprise points", so ended up paying $4.90 for two $25 sets.

I couldn't help but check my local Kmart after seeing this thread.

The Ninjago Mechdragons, TLM Trash Chompers, TLM Ice Cream Trucks, and 40 TLM Cloud Cuckoo Palaces all laughed at my when I checked their price tags.

As usual, absolutely nothing on sale.

    There are still Kmarts around?

Actually, there is one still nearby me in Florence, Kentucky. All the others have been closed down unfortunately. And to think I used to work at a K-mart 23 years ago. I guess I will have to check it out for nostalgia's sake.

There are 4 within 25 miles of my house. I only regularly go to 2.

Mine is notoriously bad at stickering items or moving them to Clearance. I always have to take them to a scanner, but it's helped me find a lot of deals over the years

I've done really well finding deals at Kmart.  Last year I bought plenty of Friends sets 50% off.  Best part, the scanner was on the pole in the lego aisle.

I haven't seen a Kmart in years. There are none near me. But we have ShopKos here..that's exactly like Kmart/Sears. It has the same depressing feeling whenever I go in there (which is rare).

There are 2 Kmarts here & they both look the exact same way they did in the 1970's. Entering the store is like walking thru a time portal.I'd love to have a look thru their stockroom as I'm sure there are some dusty old boxes hidden away holding retired Lego treasures.
