For those who have purchased some of the more recent UCS sets, which is your favorite?

Im personally trying to decide between purchasi the UCS Sandcrawler, the Slave 1, the TIE Fighter, or the X-wing. Does anyone who has any of these sets have any feedback? Thanks!

In my humble opinion they are all great sets. If your trying to choose one to buy I would say get the x wing as this is the one most likely to be discontinued:)

I bought the Red Five X-wing last month and love it, its a great model, iconic, lots of detail and as DarthMorl mentioned, its most likely to be discontinued, compared to the other three sets which are newer.

Hi! I remember a topic from a couple of months ago quite similar to the one you just started.
Maybe a @moderator can merge the two threads and keep your title as it is not confined to a limited number of SW (UCS) sets to be discussed, and is thus better. Quite a few forum members (including me) have given their opinion on which set they like better, discussing some of the sets you seek advice on.

Good luck figuring out which set(s) to buy.

Thanks BigLegoski, merging the threads is a good idea.

Personally, I'm just a whisker away from dropping the pennies on a Slave 1. It looks gorgeous, by all accounts is a great build, and offers pretty good cost per brick. I'll see what the Ep VII collection looks like, as the new Falcon might be bought first (with, I assume, an old Han mini), but Boba's big bad baby will be mine.
