(France) Less expensive hobbit sets?

FauchFauch Member Posts: 2,662

I've just seen this on the database, prices for some hobbit sets apparently got noticeably lower in France. I was wondering if it was permanent or only during sales? Also where did you see this? hobbit sets don't appear on lego.com anymore.

Damn you! You Frenchie! Le 'Obbit ies sjeaper in France!?! Sacre Bleu! Eat eaz not faiir!
Just keeeding uf cuuurse, je adore France. Cette un Pays très belle, un peuple très gentil, avec un cuisine incroyable.

But seriously, that is good right?! Go snatch some up before all of them are sold out! Must be plenty of places in France (besides Lego [email protected]) where you might still be able to buy Hobbit sets or not?

On [email protected] in NL I saw one Hobbit set was discounted too. Though now the only set which is still being sold €30 more expensive then in France is 'The Tower of Orthanc' for €229,99 , all the others are gone.

Maybe it depends on where you live? I am sure that they are to be found in shops in metropolitan areas; such as in, or in the vicinity of huge cities like Paris ,Lyon, or Marseilles, but maybe not in rural areas. My mum lives in the south of France, whenever I go and visit her I am always amazed how little Lego I see, even when visiting huge hyper-marches like Auchan etc. at the outskirts of Avignon. Though it could be that I did not look in all the right places. Granted I am not really thoroughly scanning for them, though I never see any specialized toy-shops in France. However I saw plenty of Lego being sold on-line through various outlets when checking the web while staying in France last time. But you probably know better where to find Lego on-line, and for good prices too, than I do?! Where do you usually buy Lego in France (on-line)?

I'm not near a metropole. I bought most of my legos on bricklink
