Hello All

Some of you may have seen me before on Eurobricks, however for those who have not; if you like Classic Pirates your in for an interesting (hopefully) read.

I have been trying to write a series of articles looking at all the classic pirate sets from back in my youth. Now that I am a jaded adult it is fun to look back at all the sets I loved as a child, for the warm feeling of nostalgia alone these articles are worth looking at.

I have posted them up here to get some feedback on the quality and so that others can enjoy the work I have put in (again hopefully), it should please any fan of Pirates.

I Hope you Enjoy

Great work! I do agree with you that the Officer/Soldier ratio is way off on a lot of the sets, especially the Imperial Guards. I probably have almost the same number of each in my humble collection, where in reality the Soldiers should be the most numerous.

@legogeek: surely there should be a "matey" at the end of that sentence? :)

@sirsven7: had a quick look at your site, looks awesome. Looking forward to having a proper read of the articles and getting nostalgic about my old sets. And welcome to Brickset by the way!
