Creator sets - regional or worldwide?

Hi,

I noticed today that there are quite a few small creator sets listed that I've never seen before. There is a wreath that I'm looking for but do want to pock up the rest of them. Xmas is my favorite holiday and I like collecting the winter/seasonal type stuff. I didn't know they crossed Creator and seasonal stuff.

Does Lego have regional releases that are only available in some areas/countries or are they all pretty much worldwide in their distribution?

Thanks,

Mike

Some sets can strictly be US only or European. Look at all the PotC Polybag sets, minus the minifig for the lego game. All of them have been Overseas only at this point.

    Thanks for the info btw.

The polybags in particular often only get released in certain countries. It's a constant game of tracking them down and trading for us polybag collectors. As for the wreath and the reindeer, they are not officially available in any country yet. There is a German seller on Bricklink who has a few wreaths for sale and there's one on ebay I think. The reindeer is not available for purchase anywhere so far.

I think these two sets will be available on [email protected] and/or in LEGO brand stores within the next month.

When it comes to polybags, I think that the Bricklists for polybags are very useful. They keep track of all the sets, and tells you where they are/were available. Here's a direct link to the current one:

Thanks for the info and link. I have all of the Alien Conquest sets including the jetpack but now I see there is a walker polybag set. Anyone have it available?

I'll be going to the Lego Store in Aventura, FL on Tuesday. Hopefully, I'll be able to pick up the Xmas sets.

Well, I picked up the three Xmas polybags and a the magnet set. Hopefully, the Sawgrass store will be open by Brick Friday although, I did see on the Lego website that you can order online and still get the promotion. Should save me from some aggravation with all the holiday shopping madness.

From what I see from what my Local Lego distributor ( Lego Japan ) offers, we surely don't get the Lego games or most of the exclusive sets. They don't show them on the official catalogs.
But there are private distributors not related to Lego that import exclusive sets from the US or EU. I don't see so much of the games here.

Ahh.. thanks @Hypnoskillz that explains that

Would be nice if the staff could have figured that out, the polybags were hanging in the lego aisle and they couldnt figure out why there was no SKU.
