(and, relatedly, if there's any chance that Supergirl is also in the box?)
Answer to #1, looks to be the same fun pack just inserted into the Dimensions Starter set. The piece count (43) is the same.
The game is much more fun when you have all the characters at your disposal, which is far different than where we were 2 years ago.
Customer service's only suggestion was try a new profile. No way I'm re100%ing the game again anytime soon...
At the moment for me in terms of '200%ing' the game using the second year packs, I've just lost interest a little and am making very slow progress. It doesn't help that I don't yet have some of the franchises and powers like Powerpuff Girls and Teen Titans. Hopefully I can still get the key Dimensions packs I'm missing for a cheaper price now. Some of the gold bricks in the second year packs can be very annoying though, especially if they involve you having to do a 'Sonic race' that doesn't translate well into the full 3D of Dimensions.
Anyway I’ve been making slow progress. I’ve 100%ed the story levels, and cleared out 6 hub worlds so far. Still have to do the bonus levels. I encountered a glitch on the Scooby Doo world with the rampaging monster mission. It finished, but did not give me a gold brick. I guess this is a common glitch. I’ll live with it. I now have over a quarter of the 1000+ gold bricks.
I"m also happy that what I thought was a glitch in the Scooby Doo world was not actually a glitch. The missing gold brick was the RuleBreaker brick that I had completely forgotten about.
I'll also be forever at least 1 gold brick short because of some bug somewhere that was never important enough to fix.
Sadly, I have no real desire to replay it all from scratch. sad really as when it first came out i was completely addicted to playing it!
i've got all the requirements for all 4 bricks - completed level, rule breaker, all minikits, rescued sam (i think) - it shows i've only got 3 of 4.
customer services told me to power cycle my ps4. when that, unsurprisingly, didnt work they told me to delete the game and redownload all the updates. then told me that ultimately if that didnt work that they had no ideas and if i really wanted that brick i'd have to start a new game (after deleting my save - just in case!)
That sucks. I had no problem with levels but in both the GB 2016 and TLBM adventure worlds i'm stuck at 27/28 (or 26/27 whatever one missing is) and customer service told me the same thing, which ain't happening...
Oh wow. You're right. That's garbage. I haven't had the pleasure yet.
Have you played it through again to make sure? I'm sure you know this, but I appreciate how once you've played a level, it gives you the option to replay a section of it, and it tells you in which sections things aren't completed, like rescuing characters. Does that screen show everything is at 100% for you?
You sure it's not RulerBeaker? :)
I encountered a glitch in the Ghostbusters world where for one of the races, it did not display a gold brick floating in the middle of it like it usually does. When I saw that, I assumed I had done that race, but I actually hadn't. I did that race and got the gold brick I was missing. This has led me to change up my strategy when I do a new world. First, I do all the Renovations and then all the races to make sure I've got them all.
That's interesting though. I'll have to go look back at the races, do you remember which one it was?
Just discovered a glitch in Jurassic Park today in the T-Rex quest. Created the dino but it doesn't recognise he's there and the guy just keeps asking if I've finished the task yet. Not retried after turning off and on again yet so hopefully it will work next time
Hi, my son is now playing all the TT Lego games he can gets his hands on, and has now 'decided' that he would like the Dimensions game. Is it still worth getting for the Xbox 360? Is the availability & price of the starter pack and the additional packs making it an easier or harder proposition?
He knows that the game isn't going to be available for much longer, but I'm presuming he can finish it without all the extras. He says he 'just' wants Sonic, Raven, Beast Boy and "a character with a grapple". I don't know where he picked those from, but I'm assuming they're good choices? Are there any more that he would need to access more places/worlds?
I appreciate that this is a very open-ended set of questions, so I'd be happy to be pointed towards a good resource for info, but your opinions would also be most welcome!
There's an excel sheet somewhere on reddit detailing ALL THE THINGS.
I say go for it, the game is fun, and you'll be able to get starter (and story?) packs a lot cheaper than they were originally right now.

I also found this list that someone had posted on a Reddit thread that answered someone questions about bringing items on a summer trip:
if you want EVERYTHING, here's the exact characters you need:
Your main team (characters that will cover the widest range of abilities):
Your reserve squad (characters you pull out for ability-related puzzles):
Your specialists (characters you pull out for infrequent, VERY SPECIFIC ability-related puzzles):
Your house keys (characters without exclusive abilities that you only need to unlock their respective level/world)
better to go to eBay.
