Ive been offered a Taj Mahal mint for 1800 euro .problem is I have a bad feeling about seller.I think price is too good to be true, and I don't want the annoyance of PayPal refunds if sale is dodgy.Any advice,as I really want this set?

If I have any doubts whatsoever, then why put myself into a potentially messy situation?
There are always better deals... wait for one that you're more confident in.
But you should see the illnesses that have decimated the ranks of Bank Executives in Nigeria, leaving generous rich widows with $12 million that they want to offer to split with you if you only give them your bank account number!! :o

Bargain! Sold. Please supply your bank account details.
If only I could buy other sets for Ugandan dollars. Sigh!
Not trying to sound rude, but a brand new member offering up a NISB Taj Mahal is just about as bad as Davemoon's previous situation was ;)
I'm in a bit of a predicament because like I said, this is not only the lone set I have to sell, it's the only thing in my house I can sell. So I get how fishy it seems to try and sell something of such value without any prior sales.
I live in Canada and purchased the set in late August 2010 at the Lego Store in Mall of America. I had every intention of building it with my best friend, but life got in the way and it just ended up sitting in my basement for a year and a half. That's when I looked online and saw that the value had gone up. I became conflicted about what to do with it, because I still wanted to build it, but I was also trying to move to Vancouver, and trying to transport a built set would be super inconvenient. So once again it just sat in my basement. Fast forward to today, and I find myself as a first year university student who is going to be broke for the next 5 years. So I figured now is as good a time as any to try and sell it.
Just a heads up I put my Taj up for sale in the Marketplace threads. Here's the link to my listing for anyone who's interested.

To people of a certain generation, of a certain childhood, this building will be forever inextricably linked to a particular badger and his 'magic lantern' show.
