The giftcard deal runs til the 23rd but the % off sale ended on the 9th. I didn't get around to picking something out in store but placed an online order between store closing and midnight.

Already got some sets on sales that weren't quite as good (story of my LEGO bargain hunting life), decided I didn't need another. 70847, 75259 and #75945 it is

^ Thanks @KingAlanI. I picked up two #40340 Friendship House and one #75259 Snowspeeder. They were both about 34% off the shelf price, despite there being no signs other than the ones for the $10 GC promo. Plus, I got the GC even though those sets did not have that shelf tag. And finally, I got the 5% redcard discount :)

Yeah, I was just going to post also, there's a number of other sets online marked with the GC promo, that are on sale based on RRP, but not MARKED as on sale.  Def worth checking out.

Whoops, I meant #41340. It has been discounted from RRP all year ($56.99 I think) but was coming up on the scanners at $46.49 despite no sale tags. So it was about 18% off normal price but 34% off RRP. #75259 was 37% off normal price of $39.99 which is RRP. Weird discounts. Normally one would expect an even 15%, 20%, 30%, etc.

but...

Now that I check Amazon, I see they have matching prices on both, including the “save $10 when you buy $50” deal. So, which came first? Hmm.

I saw that several sets were half price like #75889 Ferrari Garage,  #60195 city arctic base, many of the lego movie 2 sets and several others.

Wish I would have noticed that earlier as there are no Ferrari, or Arctic mammoth sets at two of the Targets near me (even though their store checker, and brickseek- at least for the Mammoth set- is reporting they have them)

Even though I was able to find the ferrari set in store, I believe many of these 50% off sets are in preparation for cyber Monday tomorrow.  This is probably why they pulled some of the stock and many are temporarily OOS or not available for store pickup.  I'd say definitely check tomorrow.

Our Mt View, Ca. Target has/had #70831 Emmet's House and #70830 Systar Starship on the shelves for $35 each. The online inventory checkers were not correct as it showed out of stock when there were about 7 of each set. I passed on #70830, thought about it and went back for it a couple days later. Emmet's house was sold out but there are still about 6 of #70830 left.

Star wars toy demo at my store let's the kids pop a window on the Lego advent calendar and take home the contents. Might come back with my crew for that.

Found these affordable storage trays in Target. I found them very useful as they are kind of flexible unlike dollar store ones. In addition, they do fit perfectly in 'Lego Storage Box S' to compartmentalize it.

I would not say it's "nearly every set". I was hoping to pick up the new Safari car and Ice Cream Truck and neither is included.

Many Architecture sets are included and are already marked down. Might get #21034 London, thought about it last sale, but see none on the shelf so may order online.

I got two of #41456 Unikingdom Fairground Fun this way. Both boxes unopened, everything present. I don't know what "Repackage" means, but I was happy to get them cheap!

So I can answer this. In order to get the lowest price, Repackaged has be input into the system for items. I had this done by a store employee on a few speed champion sets that were orginally 49.99 and I was able to get them for 17.51

I believe that occurs when something is returned to the store that was purchased, and is only available, on the website. I've seen that with some clothing items and in the electronics department.

I looked a few minutes ahead and didn't find anything quick, but apparently I had some more time to look.

Besides the 21034 I wanted myself, was also looking for Star Wars or car sets for a kid gift. #75214 and #75236 were also already on sale and so were #10700 and #10714 (the 10 inch/25.4cm/32 stud green or blue baseplates, which got me just above $50)
