[US] Target Deals

Yesterday at local target they had but one, get one 50% off on several brands including Marvel on a big sign in front of several Marvel LEGO sets . I asked if the LEGO Marvel sets were included and was told that they were, but did not test it as I found no sets I wanted for 25% off retail.

^ It didn't for me at the register but they overrode it for me since the ad did not specify excluding LEGO.

I was able to get Super Heroes #76080 Ayesha's Revenge for $14.98 and #76081 Milano vs. Abilisk for $24.98 and was able to get 2 free Groot keychains(separate purchases).

Picked up #60169 Cargo Terminal for $54.39 at Bloomington today. Brickseek showed it at that price at every Target near me, but not all had stock.

Don't know how great of a deal it was but I got the Bus Station for $31.99 , at Target this past weekend.

Clearly a mistake but right now Target has the Death Star listed at $139.99 (72% off) online right now. Seems there are some other odd pricing mistakes like mini-u-wing for $499.

Honestly, there are quite a few sets deeply discounted there. Definitely check it out as stock is dwindling.

Looks like DB is gone now. I did order a #75189 Heavy Assault Walker for $110, and #75060 Slave I is available at $160.
Still quite a few crazy prices listed, but if they were great deals they are out of stock. I found some insane high prices like the #70911 Penguin Arctic Roller for $100.

Although I missed the initial online shenanigans, I was able to pick up a couple Ocean Monuments for $60 each and a Destiny's Bounty for $99 at a local Target that price-matched the website. Although DB was only 38% off (plus Redcard), I was really happy with that price as I doubt I will be able to get it for lower (none made it to $79 around me at Walmart).

I was sorely tempted by that one, but I already have one. Picked up my #75189 tonight, and grabbed another #60169 too.

I did skip the Heavy Assault Walker, since I lucked into a couple for $35 at Walmart.  I do have some Ocean Monument, Boost, Assembly Square, Destiny's Bounty, and Death Stars in transit.  Still waiting on my Knightcrawlers to ship.

Not sure if it’s related to their apparent web price snafu, but I did a couple brickseek searches yesterday for Target that came up showing Out of Stock at every single store, and I know that wasn’t the case.

For what it's worth, I'd be willing to make the same offer as above, but for the Assembly Square.  (I am looking for a Death Star, but it's on a looong list of nice to have, whereas a modular is more appropriate for the collection my wife has).

Found Groot keychains for 2.98 and decided to buy them, then found out at checkout the were 1.78 per. Not as good as an Assembly Square for 79 dollars, but it will have to do.

I was just happy to get two #21136 for $59.99 and store pick up.  Visited a few Targets today, and they all had Destiny's Bounty in stock despite store pick up not being available yesterday.  Should have went in for the price match yesterday.  Oh well.  As a consolation prize I found a PS4 Supergirl Dimensions starter pack for $30.

Decent markdowns on the 2018 Ninjago sets in store at Target now. Price-per-piece was already pretty low on some of them. I see no signs of merchandise moving. That theme's starting to look exhausted, IMHO.

I don’t  know. Last fall had some of the best sets of the series to date. I think movement is less about the series, and more about overall Lego product. I would add, that at Target especially, the shelves at this time of year will look very stocked. At Christmas by me, Lego shelves were still picked over.

Target had not been having many in-store sales so far this year. This week's Star Wars sale offered 2 out of 3 of the worst TLJ sets and nothing else.

When it isn't holiday shopping time it can be hard to tell if product shifts at Target just because they have a super efficient inventory system. As soon as someone buys a Lego set it triggers for one to be pulled onto a restock cart of any remain in the back or to have a new box loaded on the next truck. Even at the small Target I used to work at something would only be out of stock or low inventory for just a day or two at most.

And related, I went to Walmart after Midnight tonight.  No, not for CMF 18.  No, didn't forget my kid's Easter stuff.  Did forget couple Easter things so while all were sleeping thought, why not.  And while there might as well scan Lego aisle.  There was a box of CMF 18. Guy in front of me feeling a couple. Said he found what son wanted and left.  Took me bit to feel whole box.  Found all I wanted including the one police man.  Could not find a clown though.  Bet guy in front me got at least one.  Plenty of brick guy/girls.  Funny thing though, they wouldn't scan on check out.  Guy came over and had to plug in the UPC for each one.  Said he had to do that at least 200 times that night.  So not sure if they had them out somewhere else in the store or someone restocked shelf throughout night.

So good luck tomorrow searching Target and WM for the ones you all want.  I just really want the clown now.  Unfortunately I don't think I can search tomorrow or Monday and with its seeming popularity, this may be a challenge for me to get.

I really do like the Clown one and got two of them as I really like the balloon animals. Hoping I can find a Classic cop tomorrow to complete a set for my GF

Don't get ahead of yourself, maybe they'll find old S17 bags and put them out at $4.89
I hadn't seen any CMFs out, Wegmans still has a few TLBM S2 left
@SumoLego and I are from different parts of the Rochester NY area, apparently the store in his neighborhood is just as dysfunctional on this.

I think my two Targets went rogue last year.  Haven't seen any TLBM2 yet....still have hundreds of Ninjago ones hanging on an endcap with about 100 or so SW Heavy Assault Walker polys and the rest of the Ninjago are at the checkouts....the other Target has neither minifigures nor polys at checkout.....they just don't carry them.
