Start checking your Targets for #75157 Captain Rex AT-TEs...I snagged one for $35.98!

I saw Kylo Ren's shuttle was also knocked down to that price at a few Targets but they were all sold out.

    Hillsdale Avenue?
Didn't check there for Kylo or Rex's. Got the AT-TE at the Plant Target. Someone busted a hole in the back so I purchased it at the CS counter, opened it, and cross-referenced the # of bags inside (as well as inspected for any opened bags) with a Brickset review.

Went to Cupertino Target. Brickseek said they had two Kylos in stock. Looked all over the place. Behind boxes, different sections...nada. Maybe you can find them.

Last time I was at Hillsdale, they had six AT-TEs for $60. Was going to go back and check tonight.

    LMK if you do.
If not, I'll swing by there and report out.

EDIT: Thinking about it now...I may be able to use my Target receipt and get them to honor the price since it was purchased at another Target, right?

Nope mark downs are store by store per policy. But can vary by store depending on who you get and how nice they are.

My store didn’t have slot of stuff on sale tonight. Was bumped. The website prices were less than the store.

Gone at Hillsdale. Only clearance they have are a handful of Eris Dimensions packs for like $3.58 or so.

Dang. I should have posted as I was there earlier tonight.

Was going to stop by Cottle and Silver Creek but ran out of time.

Cupertino and Landess Targets have Baze Malbus Constractions for $7.48 (70% off).
Cupertino (Main Street) and Landess have Chirrut îmwe Constractions for $7.48.
Cupertino has Scarif Stormtrooper Constractions for $7.48.

City Square is 30% off.  I think it may have been on sale for a while.

Next week's flyer shows #30476 Happy Turtle as a free gift with a purchase of $24.99 or more.  That'd be a nice sweetener on top of some of the already discounted sets.

I will have to drop in tomorrow morning and see if the sets are out yet. That's how I got my #30276 & #30286 polys - coming across the endcap before the promo started.

Just picked up  #75157 Captain Rex AT-TE for $30 and some change.  So, happy since I missed it when it was coming up at Walmart for that price.

Does anyone have the DPCI for the sea turtle poly?
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,355
Didn't see anything that was a good enough deal even with the promo
Wording implies one set of at least 24.99, rather than that total. Even if customer service let me add up smaller sets, I don't see anything to get.
That's what I was afraid of but I'd feel bad if I didn't check.

The turtle polys were just dumped out on a shelf in the Lego aisle at the store I checked. Nothing seemed to be on sale, so I just bought 2 of the #30476 @ $2.99 each. Now that is a nicely priced set!

@starfire2 According to my receipt it is 204002165

I have the UPC for the happy sea turtle: 673419268264
Also the LEGO item number: 6176538.
They were not on a peg in the store I went to. They were in a little basket on a top shelf in the LEGO aisle.
For 2.99, I just bought a couple instead of buying any LEGO as nothing appeared to be on sale or on clearance

I bought a set online on sat night and pick up on sunday, but the CSR refused to give the Turtle  as she said she has to ring up the item at store  but on sunday,  i checked on target.com and there is no way to add the turtle on online order.  and at the store,  that set is $10 more than the target.com and the store wouldn't match their online store price!

  • JooTogJooTog Member Posts: 945
I ended up buying a coup[le of the turtle polybags at $2.99. Visited three Targets I could find them.

I just bought something on Target and it looks like i can pick up the sets that I ordered, but they will ship the promo turtle set. I hope that works out.

You might want to try again. I just saw your post, went to target.com and put a #60168 in my cart. Turtle was automatically added to the order.

I went back to one of the stores I visited on Sunday that didn't have them out and I asked a worker for it.  He didn't know where they were so he brought me over to the electronics register where they had a brand new box under the counter.  They both assumed that the regular registers also had them.  Not sure how the cashiers would know to give one out with a qualifying purchase.  The only thing I can think of is a pop-up on their screen letting them know, which is what I see happen for free gift card promos.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,355
I didn't see the turtle out loose, would've bought some by themselves. service desk worker had to be shown the sign. didn't let me get 2 sets totaling 24.99. Odd since the sign was on some 23.99 and 24.49 sets. Would've gotten a #41311 for pizza themed parts and add something small.
Found a Vacation Batman, yay. TLBM bags marked up to $4.79, boo, and they've refused to price adjust CMFs before.
  • malachirobertsonmalachirobertson Member Posts: 268
Yeah, what's up with the $4.79 for minifigures?  I would assume that they would lower the price to clear out the old stock.  My Target had series 16, TLBM, and series 17 all at $4.79.  It looked like Ninjago Movie minifigures were $3.99.

That's weird. I've never had a problem getting them to match their web site. In fact, just the other day, they did it at the express checkout, whereas in the past I had to go to CS.

I just pretended it was like the scavenger hunts some stores do, only harder since there are no hints or clues and the employees don't care.

Ask ask ask. Always ask when it doubt. Now it is possible someone came in an bought them all( for whatever reason) but I found mine in a basket on a shelf, not a 'LEGO' basket, but literally something that it appears that Target took from housewares and dumped the bags into, and it was on a top shelf of all places in the LEGO aisle, and not a 'dedicated' place for such bags (like an end cap)

I'm sure they're chilling in the back somewhere. The Christmas section hasn't rolled out en force and that's when we're probably going to see these hard to find turtles.

I've had trouble before and typically shop less in store because of price matching issues and discount discrepancies.  They wouldn't price match #7965 to their own website when it was around $100.  I was told Target.com is somehow a different company than the store which makes no sense.

Tons of turtles at my nearest store tonight. They were on an end cap tucked away on the outskirts of the toys section.

At my target, they were behind the counter in electronics - or whatever they call that department these days.  Had free Ninjago stickers (cute minifigure heads and emojis), free tiny comic books, and free Ninjago dog tags.  Not quite the lottery, but nice...

At one point they would not match .com, but they should now a days.
    https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/shop-with-confidence

This is their corporate policy and there are some exclusions, but

    • We match Target.com prices on in-store purchases and in-store prices for Target.com purchases. In-store price matches from other Target stores are excluded.

Several specific sets at 20% off. Now seeing the turtles, maybe the plan was to sell whatever didn't go as promos, maybe there was no plan
  • ryjayryjay Member Posts: 1,009
Then some Targets say they will only match on-line if the item is in stock on-line and vice-versa.

I once saw an item on line that said "$19.99 in store only", so I went to the store, found the item, but it was $29.99...I asked for the $19.99 price and they declined it stating they don't match out of stock on-line items.....but, but it says $19.99 in store only...I'm in the store....and it's not $19.99  (disclaimer, I don't really remember the price, I just never understood, i guess, what "in store only" means....and I still dont)
  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,567
Another thing to keep in mind is that their policies change as they try to compete with online shopping. So, if you've had a bad experience in the past, you might want to try again some time. But I wouldn't expect any store to do obviously "dumb" things like matching another store's clearance prices.
