what price did you get the #70323 for?
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Why can't my target go to 70%? 30% on #41233 is borderline for parts, was very happy to see it 66% at WalMart. #70917 is generally $99 at WM, so $97 at Target feels like price matching.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Some nexo ultimate at 50% but those are a mediocre deal even then
  • scotty12scotty12 Member Posts: 835
^^^ #70323 Nexo Knights Volcano Lair were $59.98 at Target.
  • Last week, I got #70592 from my local Target for $15

Found a pair of Eleves sets for half off, #41182 and #41185. Not an Elves collector, but cute sets and couldn't resist at half off.
  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,478
I suppose this won't help anybody else, but I found a lone #41547 Mixel at the Ridgedale store for $2.48.
Not on discount, but I also found a bunch of #30427 Ice Tank polys at the checkouts.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
#41234 Bumblebee Helicopter without a sticker but scanned at $7.48 (half off)

@Ma1234 Got #41185 at WM $25 (~60% off), that was a steal, 50% still very good

Yeah, one nearest to me was done with the reset, only a couple Nexo sets tossed into the clearance section.  I am going to go through deal withdrawls soon.
  • YodaliciousYodalicious Member Posts: 1,366
^ I'm not sure I'll go through those withdrawals for quite some time. This was quite the summer clearance between Target and Walmart. I've had great deals before, but not at this high of a quantity. My build backlog is huge now. I'm actually welcoming a break from buying. HA!

^ Did Target do a clearance on Ninjago and TLBM? If so, I missed it completely. I didn't see much of those themes over 20% off at the Targets near me.
  • starfire2starfire2 Member Posts: 1,335
^Nope. Mostly Lego City and old Ninjago
  • YodaliciousYodalicious Member Posts: 1,366
The great deals I got at Target were Nexo Knights. Anything else this time around was Walmart.

They have raised the items prices back to SRP, which I have seen before.  Even the buildable star wars figures, that they clearanced out, new stock and everything.

  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
I also have more than enough to do after all this clearance. Bed is covered in BrickLink inventory that needs to be sorted.
I've seen other stores do that too, go from clearance back to full price on something, what's the point?

  • ReesesPiecesReesesPieces Member Posts: 1,119
I've seen the same thing at walmart.  They would have clearance reducing price upto 70% for the new stock.  Apart of the new stock will include the items they had just reduced to clear out but would be full price.  Not very efficient.

Actually, for walmart the clearance and then return to full price is to make resetting stores more efficient. Walmart corporate puts together 2 or 3 different versions of the Lego aisle to ship to stores, instead of 5,000 versions if they took individual store inventory into account.

Clearance aisle has more of the same sets at the same prices that I saw before
#70322 50% instead of 30% but mediocre deal even then
But they do have a sale on sterilite tubs
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,787
I just realized by the Nexo Knights look off to me. Many of the figures look like they are refuges from Megablock sets.
  • YodaliciousYodalicious Member Posts: 1,366
^ I agree for the most part, but boy does my son love them. It's surpassed Ninjago for him at this moment. Although I'm sure that'll change when the movie comes out.
  • datsunrobbiedatsunrobbie Member Posts: 1,817
Local Target just reset the toy section. Lots of new sets in the LEGO aisle, but nothing discounted. I spotted multiple boxes along the back wall with toys that were on their way out of the store for redistribution, and found the following sets
    6 Mixels @$1.48 each
    #70319 @$9.14
    #70321 @$20.48
    #76070 @$4.98
    #60106 @$5.98
    #31045 @$7.48

They had a few small Technics and Minecraft sets shipping out as well, but they all scanned at or near full price. A couple of shelf displays were also on their way out, but I was told they "have to be recycled". I expected that, but it never hurts to ask, right?

  • 77ncaachamps77ncaachamps Member Posts: 2,442
    Weird.

i bought #76070 at this one Target for $4.98 last week.
back today to pick up another, now $9.99.

    so ymmv

Small city Target in Philadelphia had a bunch of sets on 50% off clearance. Picked up 2 #75171 for $25 each. Really didn't have a desire for it, but it was the only Star Wars sets so felt sorta obligated since that's what my kids love.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
"60153_PEOPLE PACK-FU"(n at the beach) shelf tag. Goes with "30401 LEGO FRIENDS POO"(l fun slide). And $39.99 is FU considering how much #60134 eventually went on sale
Girl pointed out #41317 to her mom, I pointed out it would probably be at least 20% off in a couple months
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Saw my first TLNM CMFs but don't have identification guide ready. Saw more S17, found 3 rocket boy and 1 elf girl
  • madforLEGOmadforLEGO Member Posts: 10,787
Saw a freshly opened box at a local TRU and pulled two N pop girls.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
I was very surprised to find more Rocket Boy than Elf Girl.
When I went to check out with the S17 bags, I saw an S16 in the checkout aisle, thought I might as well feel it, got Rogue.
  • SumoLegoSumoLego Member Posts: 15,229
My local Target finally put out Ninjago CMFs.

One column has S17; one has TLBM; the last has TLNM.

In the impulse area near the registers, Ninjago CMFs abound - and at $3.99, not $4.29.  (The cashier found my mad dash to find a Uni-Kitty Girl amusing.  Ended up with a Squid Guy instead...)

Clearance sets at my local store:

    #75099 Rey's Speeder $13.98 (30% off)
#75101 First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter $35.68 (49% off)
    #75139 Battle of Takodana $30.44 (49% off)
    #75149 Resistance X-Wing Fighter $42.68 (47% off)
    #75157 Captain Rex's AT-TE $83.98 (30% off)

Grabbed some of the near 50% off sets.
Might hit another Target store tomorrow to see what they have.
  • CaptainRogersCaptainRogers Member Posts: 862
Saw First Order Tie and Rey's Sepedrr for half off. Ended up with Battle on Takodana for $21.
  • AstrobricksAstrobricks Member Posts: 5,478
Saw several things on clearance at the Edina store, but none of the prices were great. However, they also have a bunch of Superheroes sets on sale including the two GotGV2 sets. I just saw the movie and wanted #76080 Ayeshas Revenge. Checking targets web site showed an even better price of $19.19 (in a weird "add it to your cart to see price" sale) so I got a price match at CS.

^ so that's why store manager did an override and just took off $25.00 from my total.  I thought it wasn't working and so did she because I was price matching Walmart.  ymmv

Good haul today, although had to add the GOTG items in target app's cart to see the prices, and the tie fighter showed still at full price in the store scanner, but discounted in the app. Didn't have any problem price-matching at customer service.

    #76080 GOTG Ayesha's Revenge @ $19.19
    #76079 GOTG Ravager Attack @ $13.60
#75101 SW Special Forces Tie Fighter @ 25.48

Targets ad startingntoday shows 20% off select legos.  Limited selection, Friends, city, minecraft and duplo.  Prices on website dont currently reflect discount, might stack with other existing discounts.
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Many extremely small sales some even less than 20%. Friends, City, Minecraft, DUPLO. licensed DUPLO is also more expensive.
#10834 Pizzeria $23.99 is the best deal for DUPLO

    Some sets that had a below MSRP list price are now a decent deal - #41129 $19.99, #41130 $72.89, #41119 $29.69, #41125 $29.69, #41126 $41.64, #60134 $26.99
    #41133 $31.99 is a Target exclusive
#41323 $31.99, was surprised to see a Snow Resort set already marked down

  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
a few #30497 out by registers,
    #75157 on clearance shelf $83.98 (30%)
    nothing else interesting

Yup. Just picked up the last one at my Target for $59.98 (50% off MSRP).
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Just noticed it's down to $59.98 near me as well
  • KingAlanIKingAlanI Member Posts: 2,342
Several City, DUPLO, Elves and a few superhero sets 20% off, notably first sale I've seen on #60153 - I want that, do I bite or wait for further discount?
Amazon has same price, WalMart has it a barely under MSRP

If it follows th same trend as the park set from last year, $29.99 will become the “regular price” and then discounts will apply on that. At least that is what I am counting on.
