A few sets are on clearance, most were 30% off:
#76034
#70604
February and March is prime season for Florida and Caribbean vacations. Makes sense.
A great example of this in my local target.
Edit: They may have put out the bathing suits but they haven't restocked their Lego shelves yet. Not a batman polybag or CMF to be found.
There are two full boxes of the Batman Phantom Zone polys.
I also just happened to glance down at the polys in the checkout aisles and found two #30474 bags. They must have been returns as I checked regularly during the holiday season and they never got them in. They didn't ring up, so they gave them to me for $1.50 each! ...I ran back and searched every aisle I could for 6 more...no luck.
Most of the Targets in Central VA have dried up for clearance, but I found yesterday 1x #70605 Misfortune's Keep for 50% off and 3x #41068 Arendelle Castle Celebration for 70% off.
And an earlier poster asked what happened to Fyndly's Target program? Did they get a cease and desist for over-querying Target's database?
I think that's the Target on the "Lost" island. They stock Dharma goods as well.
These have now been cleared out with a little investigative research by the folks over at brickpicker. It was in Southern Florida. They said the back story was some guy ordered 150 for store pickup with the intent to ship them overseas. Apparently that fell through so he left them at the store. Manager finally just marked 50% off to try to move them out. Some people.
Seals can look intact but does the seam look like it was torn open and then glued back together? For a big box like that, I don't think it'd be hard to pop the side and pilfer a bag only to glue it back together.
'Tis the off-season: Winter Toy Shop #10249 @ 67.99 (15% off)
-----
And, a definite NOT-DEAL: Fun in the Park #60134 for $49.99 (20% mark-up)
(Even TRU has it cheaper @ $30.99)
Is it analog? Then it might be hard to precisely read.
Only two ways to know for sure: X-ray it, or open it.
It depends 1) when Target identifies the items a salvage; 2) when Target donates them; and 3) when Goodwill has the manpower and time to stock them.
It seemed like each Target had a couple #76026 Gorilla Grodds sitting around forever at $35 too. I kept checking, but they never dropped to 50% off. I already had a couple, but I was hoping to get some cheaper and return the ones I have.
