US Shop at Home site down for the count?

Anyone else having problems with shop.lego.com today?  Despite clearing cookies, whenever I put something in my cart, I get the spinning wheel of "wait".

It just blows my mind that Lego continues to struggle with capacity with their web fulfillment system.  Any time there is a sale, double points, or significant new sets added, the web site is brought to its knees.

This has to be costing them lost sales.

It doesn't even let me access the site. just says, "Server Error"  Darn, Darn darn, darney, darn. Guess I'll have to wait to place my order.
How odd it actually is working now. [email protected] website has got some issues. I wonder why they don't fix these. Like you said @tomahawker.  This happens nearly every time.

    Why no points?

Just because it says '0' does not mean you will not get them, though you may want to contact LEGO CS to ensure you do.

I have found that it will show '0' for all points for sets in my cart, until I change quantities from like 1 to 2 and poof the points appear in the cart/bag then. Again yet another issue with their site lately.

I hit the site up at 12:05 Am & no problems placing an order, even with a new creditcard and all.The worst part of the experience was seeing that I get a Bionicle Hero Pack free with my order :o

    Not working for me.

I was going to make an impulse buy of the helicarrier (I had myself convinced to get it for about 5 minutes), but was met with the spinning wheel of death. I've now decided I probably don't need it right now...

I just spent over $200 for just one minifigure + the $400 at Lego [email protected] My wife knows about the minifigure and I am happy to say that I am still alive. She doesn't know about my [email protected] order, so there's still a chance I might end up in the news.

Over $200 for just one figure? Are you insane? Who would spend that much on one figure.

$200 is a steal if it's one of the few certain figs I think it is.
