I'm almost positive that we will (unfortunately) not get any sets based off of Logan due to its R rating and mature content, and the Fantastic Four movies are so unpopular that we will surely never get any Lego products based off of those movies. Comic book versions of them are far more likely.

    Doubt it.
Marvel has a cease and desist on all products of the FF.
theyve gown so far as to photoshop them off covers with other heroes that have been made into Tshirts.
theyre mad Fox has the rights and they refuse to give them any free publicity.
so they hurt the fans instead.

Which KILLS me because I really want the Fantastic Four and the Fantasticar!

@PatsyWalker because Marvel wants the rights back to X-men and Fantastic Four so no movie sets just comic book/tv show based sets. Unless they work out a deal like they did for Spider-Man.
LEGO did release the comics-based X-Men vs. the Sentinel set that came out the same year as Days of Future Past and used many of the same characters. Even if it wasn't a specific tie-in with the movie it was definitely meant to capitalize on excitement for it. That said, considering Logan is R-rated and not really being marketed like a typical superhero action movie, there's probably not anywhere near as much crossover appeal with kids as the previous X-Men movies had.

@gmonkey76 is on the money, sorry to say @PatsyWalker, but until Fox hands back the rights, Marvel is playing out a war of attrition against Fox by minimising merchandise for X-Men/FF. Current rumours are a deal like Sony isn't likely now, not after the last FF movie, or the fact Fox are planning a second FF film based off the last one.

^^ There were also 'coincidental' DC sets that covered just about all of the Suicide Squad characters.

I feel no sympathy for Marvel when it comes to their movie rights. They are the ones who eagerly offered and signed those terrible deals with Sony and Fox back in 1999.

@gmonkey76 @VorpalRyu, I know. I was just fantasy wishlisting for the thread.

In "It's Probably Going to Happen" wants, now that the new Spidey cartoon is Spidey, Spider-Gwen, and Miles Morales, I'll get my Gwen minifig!

@flord, the reality of that situation was that Marvel was doing it tough at the time & Stan Lee saw what Warner were accomplishing with DC, he had a vision for Marvel making what would become the MCU. Of course Hollywood studios laughed him out the building, telling him good luck, when you're interested in being real about it, let us know what rights you're willing to sell us. Lee sidelined his ideas & sold off movie rights to keep Marvel going, planning to buy them back or hope that the studios would mess up badly enough that they would let the rights to what they had expire. I feel for Lee, having a vision you know can work, but no-one else sees the potential can drive you mad, but at least Stan is getting the last laugh & the MCU is going hammer & tongs. I strongly suspect there's at least a few studio execs that got serious heat for not signing up with Lee when he first pitched the idea their studios.

@PatsyWalker, Spider-Gwen is a good possibility, TLG are still doing Comics/Cartoons based sets, so there is the potential, but be prepared for the outside possibility that she end up as a SDCC exclusive.

Old man Logan and X-23...based on the comics or some nod to a current animated show, like the Deadpool Wolvie set that just happened to show up with the Wolverine movie a few years ago, but most definitely wasn't based on the movie...or the Sentinel set that wasn't based on the movie.

Non DC/Marvel: Sam & Max. I like the Tick idea too.

I copied someone else's idea for the Tick's head but I need to try and do something to make his features stand out more. Lousy phone camera doesn't help with that either

Hell yeah, I'd love some Tick minifigs. Spawn would be cool too but would never happen. Otherwise I just want more Marvel characters:

90's X-men (blue & gold teams), Apocalypse bigfig
X-Force (original lineup w/ Cable (bulked up like some NK figs), Domino, Cannonball & Shatterstar)
New Warriors (original lineup w/ Night Thrasher, Nova, Namorita/Kymaera & Speedball) + Darkhawk
Fantastic Four w/ Fantasticar (could fit the whole team in one set but Lego rarely does that)
Silver Surfer w/ giant Galactus built figure (like Ant-Man in #76051 but much bigger)

Oh! I forgot this last night:

I collect Marvel Legends and other figures, and we've been getting X-Men and are continuing to get them this year, plus a Fantastic Four line.

Something has changed. I theorize they're willing to throw us fans a bone as long as it isn't exactly the movie property.

Oh, Stan & rest of the team at Marvel don't want kill off the X-Men or FF completely, just enough that Fox gives up & hands back the licences, while there is still some merchandise for both properties, just check out sites like superherostuff.com & look at how much new merch there is for S.H.I.E.L.D, the Defenders & many second tier characters these days. Marvel are definitely ramping up merch for everything that isn't X-Men or FF currently.

@Secretjedi I would LOVE for there to be a Netflix Daredevil line of sets but, as you stated it would never happen due to the shows TV-MA rating and the content as a whole. it would be nice to see a comic book version of Daredevil in minifigure form, plus we already have a Luke Cage and Iron Fist to make up the other defenders (no Jessica Jones though but she would be easy to MOC ). I would give anything for TLG to make a set with the Punisher and his battle van.

Punisher full stop would be an awesome thing, my hope is that TLG keep the licence long enough we see most of the Marvel universe (maybe even a few alternate variants). With TLG doing Red Hulk & both She-Hulks, I'm hoping we'll see A-Bomb, Skarr, Abomination, maybe even the Leader or Kreel.

I would Enjoy a set with some of the Avengers VS The Kree or The Skrull perhaps with a some type of Avengers style Jeep or truck akin to the one we got in the Avengers Age Of Ultron Hydra Pursuit. A Skrull ship would be a must-buy for me.

The rights to the Skrulls is tied to the FF, so the chances of seeing Skrulls in the brick is about as likely as the Reavers or the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Seeing any of the three in ABS this side of 2050 would require FOX either striking a deal like Sony did, or handing back the rights. Given the war of attrition Marvel is waging on FOX, the probability that FOX & Marvel will strike a deal is pretty damn low at this point, so if you want any Skrull stuff, you might want to get MOCing.

So I just read that Marvel Studios/Disney and Fox co-own the character(s) of the Skrulls. So there's a possibility that we could see some Lego Skrulls eventually. Cause if Lego has the rights to produce Marvel sets and Marvel is owned by Disney and Disney still owns some of the rights to the character(s) of the Skrulls, then Lego could still Legally produce Skrull themed sets.

^ Marvel own all the rights to all their characters except for their use within live action movies and a few other places. This means that Lego is able to make sets with any Marvel property in it, but they will focus on those which have the biggest possibility of cross-selling, as that's what Marvel/Disney will want. That's generally believed to be the reason why we have no FF comic at the moment (as Fox holds the movie rights to those characters exclusively) - why cross-promote characters who are in movies made by another company? Similar reasons probably will apply to the Skrulls, so I wouldn't hold your breath. Sorry.

Fox and Marvel made a deal apparently on some level recently.
It looks like the Fantastic Four embargo is slowly being released.
Upper Deck is finally being allowed to reprint their FF set that has been out of print for a few years for the Legendary game line, and there are FF figures now being produced for the Marvel Legends action figure line.
I am not 100% sure what the agreement entailed but it at least looks like Marvel is happier with it now.
Hopefully this translates to Lego in some form.

While I like Marvel and DC comic books, I like to collect Lego based on the movies and TV shows. With that being the case I really want a Daredevil and Punisher from the Daredevil Netflix series. I also wish they did Lego sets for Iron Man 1&2, Captain America: The First Avenger & Captain America: the Winter Soldier. The War Machine figs are ok but I wish I had one of the original war machine. Winter Soldier is my favourite movie so I really want a Cap, Winter Soldier (with mask), Black Widow (with straight hair) and Falcon. I have the new falcon figure but it isn't that good. Apart from those, Marvel is quite well represented for me. I guess X-Men would be cool though.

I'd rather have 100% comic book minifigs. The TV shows and movies take liberties. I'd rather have them as the artists originally intended.

I feel like DC movies have not really been represented as well as Marvel ones have. I bought the Bat vs. Bane set from Dark Knight Rises and the Batmobile from BvS. But apart from those I have not really been tempted by any others. I wish the Ledger Joker came in a cheaper set.

i am a big fan of the Arrowverse TV shows (Arrow, Flash, Legends of Tomorrow) and would love to see some minifigs based on those such as the Arrow, Arsenal, Deathstroke, Flash, Reverse Flash and the Atom. However, I know this will probably never happen.

^^Bosstone100 I know what you mean. The books are the originals and the more pure forms but I don't like how the more comic booky minifigs look. You've got to say the MCU figs look better than the other Marvel ones.

@Judgeguy, did you get 76048 Iron Skull Sub Attack & 76049 Avenjet Space Mission? Because the Iron Man armours in those are a match for armours that were in IM3. The Scuba Iron Man in #76048 is practically identical to the Mk XXXVII "Hammerhead" & the Space Iron Man in #76049 virtually looks like the Mk XXXIX "Starboost" in minifigure form.

@Bosstone100, so I'm guessing you're still waiting for a grey Hulk? While I'm a big Marvel fan, in a lot of cases, I prefer the more modern interpretations of the characters looks wise (but there are some I'd prefer if Marvel went back to earlier costumes). Daredevil's all red costume just looks better, likewise for Luke Cage & as for Wasp, I love the black bodystocking with the yellow panels, but I wouldn't mind an original Hawkeye costume minifigure. The reality is, some of the costumes work fine for the comics, but in terms of on screen, in the MCU, they'd just look so corny it would interfere with trying to tell the story, people would be more focus on why the archer dude looks like a pink & purple Wolverine.

VorpalRyu - I have a bunch of custom figs (including original Hawkeye, Juggernaut, Mockingbird, the FF, Cloak & Dagger, etc.) and a few Chinese figs (Galactus, Grey Hulk). I just like the old CB versions. I'd love an original Electro and Mysterio too. Howard the Duck is high on my list.

Gabby, one of Logan's (imperfect) clones, who has met up with Old Logan and X-23 lately to break some heads.  I thought the Honey Badger code-name moniker was older than it apparently was, since I guess it actually just came out in like the last week.  I don't read comics much, just stumble upon them while browsing the web here and there, but everything I've seen of her has been fantastic.

DC's reboot of the DC universe in 2011, particularly Scott Snyder's run on Batman, brought me out of the dark ages for both Lego AND Batman comics. I have since been longing for Snyder's 'The Court of Owls' to be released in Lego form. I think my prayers have just been answered, as I've just seen images online of two Talon minifigs being released in an upcoming set!
