    So 3PO describes the 2 minutes he saw of Anakin Skywalker's bedroom and was R2 even at most of the events in Episode 1?

    ^ R2 wasn't there for the beginning parts but once they fled Naboo he was there for a significant portion of it.  And maybe he downloaded holo-recordings from everywhere he went so he saw it all!
