Finally a Decent Way to Display Trains, Ikea Saves the Day Again!
Hi all, just wanted to share my little display I have going on. Was at Ikea the other week picking up some Ribba frames to create my minifigure displays as shown on the homepage back in July 14, when I came across these.
http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/10193022/The Ribba Picture Ledge. I had a thought, it would be perfect for displaying my trains.
Bought 2, screwed them into my wall, and voila.
The tracks sit in them perfectly, I used a handful of 2x4 bricks to raise the tracks up high enough, I'm chuffed.

Never thought of those ribba frames for minifigures either, thanks for sharing! I've got one downstairs, am going to try it out later.

Yes @Rails a very dusty Red Baron.
Yeah, they are the enlighten brand tracks, found them for $10 for a box of 15 couldn't pass them up. Perfect fit, direct replacement for the genuine ones.
My Maersk and Emerald Night will look great on the wall, I just need to find the time and place to hang them up.

The same company also sells them on ebay, but I think they are cheaper through their own website.
They are still a bit pricy though. Are there any similar alternatives?
