1980s Lego Technic 8860 Car - Resurrected and Brought to Life!

Hi
I owned a Lego Technic 8860 car back in the 1980s. My parents were clearing out their loft, found it and passed it on to me. I built it with my kids (much fun) and then brought it to life with some Power Functions motors and a Raspberry Pi. Check out my blog for how I did it!

That's amazing. I love anything done with an RPi, and using a Wiimote to control it is just inspired!

Do you have plans to integrate the Wiimote technology back into a 'conventional' chassis? (maybe a lighter, custom-built one)

That's a great idea! I will put it on my to do list. I also have some old Lego pneumatics kit that I'd like to do something with...
