@MAGNINOMINISUMBRA, XXXX land, still better than being from where they make VB. Can't stand beer personally, but Jamesons is my preferred Whiskey.
Case counts? Definitely would like that info, we will be wanting a few of certain characters, I am hoping that the Gargoyle is fairly common.

Loves Jammies, loves LEGO, hates Victoria...We could be long lost brothers! I'm thinking that the gargoyle will be 4 per case...

Why do they always short us on the female minifigs??  They're always the coolest!

Because we need as many Frankensteins and Mad Scientists as possible...

Not sure why, but there is some affinity for them!

I live in Nebraska. I haven't seen any at any target or tru...

I always prefer the female characters too.

The spectre's head glows, but the banshee's doesn't.  Oh well, 50% wish fulfillment ain't bad.

...and the Pirate captain.  If it were grunt pirates, that's a little different, but a bunch of pirate captains would look weird.

For the record, I'd be find if the distribution were 75% Spectres and Banshees :)

The plant monster is not a guy in a suit but rather someone getting eaten. OMG that is crazy Lego.

so backprinting is still optional in CMFs...

makes some of them look unfinished for "collectable" stuff

  • VorpalRyuVorpalRyu AustraliaMember Posts: 2,318
Hmmm... Can see the Zombie Cheerleaders/Businessmen being some of the more sought after ones from this lot, which is great with the low numbers of them. :( Personally, I'm hoping to pick up a few Gargoyles, could be good for a gothic styled building.

I am quite sure we have multiple threads that go into that rat hole discussion. ;-)

Honestly, I am just excited that there are no minifigs at 2/box. At least with 3-5 it really does make it easier to find figures.

The description / backstory did say that the plant was not a carnivore and would spit out the person after 2 days....

They really should have double printed that head, one side the face, the other side teeth--- big, nasty, pointy ones!

Being digested for 2 days and then spit out seems worse than just being eaten whole.

Yeah they should have definitely offered a alterrata face with a plant monster open mouth with teeth. Like what do I tell my son? 'Yeah don't worry about it Martin the man is fine he is going to be spat out in two days no worries. You know that steak you had yesterday? That will be a cow again in another day no worries.' Lol a little grousome without having a back story. Between this one and the kinky cat I think this is definitely the most risqué series.

I'm pleasantly surprised the man-immobilizing plant and the fly aren't 3-per-box figures, anyway--and very grateful there are at least three per box of all of them, since this may be the first set where I actually want a complete set!

Now all I need to do is find a complete set at a price I consider reasonable....

    Hello friends / fellow AFOL's

No sarcasm. No Bazinga. Just thought I would let you know that I have posted series 14 pre-order listings. We have sold almost 50 boxes in the first 8 hours, so the price may be increasing soon.

    "5 Monster Rockers
    5 Zombie Pirates
    5 Mad Scientists"

They had to pick my 3 least favorite for the x5 distribution!  Anyway, really tempted to order a box for 2 reasons: 1. so tired of trying to "feel" the figures in the store and 2. I fear possibly broken/stressed parts due to people not being careful trying to "feel" the figures.  i.e. the wings for the fly monster, wings for the gargoyle and the vines for the plant guy.  I've experienced this lately with other series such as the samurai girl's chest piece and the tongue of the snake that came with the snake charmer.

    Thanks @MinifiguresPlus

This was a no brainer for me. A full set of 16 from your shop is a mere $11.84 more than I would pay at retail. No hunting, no awkward old dude feeling up minifigures in the toy aisle stares, no heavy felt packs / messed up figs from the people that got there first (which is a issue I constantly deal with in my area).  $11.84 well spent.
