Please let me know if this is the wrong forum for this.

I really love the Council of Elrond set, but I immediately wanted a larger Rivendell scene. I got the idea for this general layout from a picture I found on google, from a Reddit user who's name I do not know currently. It's not 100% done, but I think I like how it turned out so far.

Nice work! Like the staircase on the right hand side - simple but effective.

The bottom section is beautiful. It's amazing how much more substantial the layout looks just by combining a couple of those sets. I think the tower looks a bit top heavy at the roof section, in contrast with the airiness of the rest of the building. Especially since it has no bottom structure to support it. But that's just my opinion, it's your MOC, so if you like it as it is that of course is perfectly fine. :)

The tower is sitting on top of a tree, which I kind of like, but I think I want to make it so that the tower is wedged completely between the two buildings. Hopefully that will make it more sturdy-looking. The only reason it is not that way now is, the tree branches get in the way. :)

Do you think making the tower a couple bricks taller will look better, so there's less roof compared to building? Edit: by taller, I mean extend the height directly under the roof with more regular white bricks.

I too like the staircase but not the tower. In itself the tower is nice, but it is very much castle-like (heavy roof, solid walls/tiny windows at the foundation) and it doesn't feel that it fits the airiness of Rivendell.

I really like it, I'd be quite with it. But one suggestion I would make and would do myself is to incorporate Trans Pieces, blue and clear, for the stream rather than the boldness of the blue plates compared to the softer toned elements used throughout the rest of the build. This stood out more for me rather than the tower, which I kinda liked.
