A little help with a very simple build

Hi all

For my anniversary I received a set of Moku-lock bricks - basically wooden 2x4 bricks designed to be compatible with standard Lego bricks.

Now, I'm about as creative as your average broken mug, so I'm wondering if anyone can suggest where to find builds using only up to 24 2x4 bricks it would help out a lot. I've had a look on google but came up flat.

Pictures without instructions would be fine - even I can probably work out the build for that small a set. I just want to be able to show my wife I appreciate the thought that has gone into the gift.

Interesting, I've never heard of those before.

You are fairly limited with just 2x4s. Maybe a pyramid? Although even then you really need a 2x2 to cap it off.

A quick google search shows that the builds possible are fairly limited ...

That Hippo/crocodile is pretty fun - I think I made the mistake of just searching for Lego, not Moku-Lock.

It's a nice little set, they come boxed in a square and fit pretty tightly together. I know it's technically clone-brand, so we're not meant to discuss them, but I thought they were different enough to mention.

They look very cool and not really a clone, IMO.

Wouldn't it be funny if it went full circle and LEGO started making wooden bricks :-)

Interesting! They're sort of 'clones' in that they're a thing which looks the same, but at the same time not, because the different material makes them somehow just different enough.

How well do they fit with real Lego bricks? Some of the more creative people out there would probably be able to get some pretty cool effects by mixing the two 'mediums' together...I'm thinking if you could do some sort of 'Architecture' style model, all in white and wood...

Those are really cool. Thanks for making me aware! Loads of different furniture ideas using thses in my head now. Would help make awesome minifig shelves.

Those are great! Would be really nice to mix up in your lego-set. Already looked on amazon but can't seem to find them on there. Do they really fit together?
