I was at TRU this past weekend and picked up 2 of the new minifig display cases. I didn't see them in the database.

They are not official LEGO products, but licensed products.
Could they still be added under Gear?

We don't automatically all products made by other companies that are licenced by LEGO because there are too many of them to keep track of and very few are of interest.

Normally we don't add them unless/until shop.LEGO.com sell them, at which point they receive an 'official 'set number'. There are exceptions, such as DK books that contain bricks/figs or are of special interest to collectors, but generally nowadays we keep 'tat' out!

I agree these are nice but we have to draw the line somewhere...

I think these cases should be added since it includes a minifg and the plates in each section are real LEGO parts.

The plates are normal 4x6 lego plates and are NOT glued in.
