This has got me thinking about what classic Scooby villains I would love to see...

    Top ten in no order:

    No-Face Zombie
    Phantom Racer
    Space Kook
    Technicolor Phantom(s)
    Lady Vampire of the Bay
    Ghost Clown
    Ghost of Captain Cutler
    Creeper
    Charlie the Robot
    10,000 Volt Ghost

    Anyone else have any wants?

I was browsing the internet to get a release of the Scooby Doo theme...
I saw a couple of websites saying August, some September, and now www.brickshop.nl says it wont be available before january 2016.

Has anybody got more detailed info?

Just2Good on the Eurobricks forum has said IIRC it seems the US is getting Scooby Doo in August, and Europe not until 2016.

    Good news.
I will not have any spare money for Scoobie in August.
Scoobie in January or February should be okay. :)

Why would they already show promo pics for a set that isn't coming out for most of a year?

Nah, someone else did but I assumed that the US will still be getting it in August (and I still think they are, don't worry)

So can we expect a Scooby-Dumb polybag in August? However, being 2015, I guess he'll be called "Scooby w/ Intellectual Disability" minifig exclusive promo.

Lol I apologize but I am telling you that when I was a child, Scooby Doo was it. Sunday Morning cartoons were Scooby Doo or nothing for me. I own every single season on DVD and almost every single movie. I absolutely love Scooby Doo. The nostalgia hits me so hard and when I saw my son (4) find the Scooby Doo dvds in the closet and start playing them I got choked up because I remember watching this show for hours. These Scooby sets are the pinnacle of my childhood memories.

So, I'm a bit lost here. I've seen the listing for the Scooby Doo "Team Pack". How are these packs going to be made available? (You leave for a month and look what happens, lol.) Interest. Returning. Must remain strong... ;-)

Same here...fortunately I didn't have to wait all week long for weekend cartoons. One of our local television stations had them playing everyday at 3:30pm...none of this talk show garbage of today. A quick 3 block run home from grade school and I was set! Scooby Dooby Doo!!

I always enjoyed getting out of school in the afternoon too. My local UHF station would play Scooby Doo, G.I.Joe, Transformers, He-Man, and Thundercats. Awesome. It changed when I got into high school, but was still great(Gummibears, Darkwing Duck, Ducktales, TMNT, and Double Dare).

Well, a lot of sites like Toys 'R' Us already have preorders available on some LEGO Dimensions packs (something that doesn't happen often with LEGO but happens all the time with video games and video game accessories). So if you want to ensure you get a copy, that's the easiest way to do it. However, you might get a better price if you wait for a good sale. Either way, I don't know if anybody's offering the Scooby-Doo team pack just yet.

RRP for the LEGO Dimensions sets is as follows: 14.99 for "fun packs" with a character and a vehicle/prop, 29.99 for "team packs" with two characters and two vehicles/props, and 29.99 for a "level pack" with a character, two vehicles/props, and a new game world. Numerical prices are the same in USD/GBP, which means that value-wise the sets are more costly for British collectors.

The "starter pack" (with the game, three characters, the "toy pad", and the Batmobile) is $99.99 for all systems in the US. In GB it appears to vary between £89.99 for most systems and £99.99 for PS4. Not sure why. You need the "starter pack" to access the building instructions for the vehicles and props in the other packs (the instructions are in-game), but they're all small and simple enough that I suppose it shouldn't be hard to build the main model without instructions. Each vehicle can be built into three different models, though I'm not sure about whether that's also true for "props".

Whoops, got some of the prices wrong, actually. Team Packs are just $24.99 in USD. But in GBP they are the same price as level packs (£29.99).

30$ makes quite a big DLC, even if there are 10$ worth of bricks with it

Thanks, @Aanchir! (I pre-ordered from Amazon. We'll see if this nips my Scooby fixation, lol.)

    Are the figures removable?
  • FauchFauch Member Posts: 2,679
I read they are, some tester said he put a batman on a gandalf base or something like that and in game it didn't recognize batman, it was still gandalf.

The new Scooby Doo sets look AWESOME!! The great thing about a line like this is that even if you don't like Scooby, which I do,  it's still a horror theme. Lots of great elements!  I want the mansion just for the clock.  The latest pictures definitely have me sold.

I'm surprised Lego hasn't put them on the website yet, considering they have an August release date.

I went to my LEGO Store this morning and they were flying off the shelves, mainly the Mystery Machine and Castle, ironically not the plane :)

so France gets the usual inflated prices for licensed themes :(

though it seems less bad than for star wars or super heroes.
