Rocket Raccoon Milano stickers

The Toys R Us Rocket Racoon polybag, as I'm sure your aware, came with an additional sticker sheet for the Milano. I'm just wondering, is their any instructions, or even pictures, on where you could put the stickers, or even a picture somewhere with the Milano with the stickers applied? This may seem like a stupid question, as a small sheet comes with the polybag with instructions on where to place a few. I've already applied a couple myself (the pretty damn useful "Awesome tape 1/2" to some spare tan tiles) however, I've noticed some are seem rather specific, such as various insignia, and I don't want to waste/destroy them if I had to reapply them.

In addition to this, and moreover I suppose, is it worth adding the stickers? Does it add anything, or does it take away from the model, if anyone's applied them.

I've had a look around, everywhere, to no avail, and knowing this was the most helpful community I thought I'd ask here.

That's not a stupid question at all. I have both the Milano set and the Rocket Polybag, and I've used the stickers on the Milano and Necrocraft sparingly. The polybag comes with a manual that shows where you ought to apply the stickers, so I followed that and even added one more (the exhaust on the lower wing is only shown on one side in the manual, so I matched it on the other). As for the Necrocraft, I added red splatter stickers on the bottom of the wings streaming up from the red 1x3 triangular plates.

I'd say it adds to the aesthetic, but I would be careful when it comes to allegiances. Over the course of the movie, sides change, so if you have a display you might want to be careful. The Nova Corps symbol make some sense, the Ravager symbol makes the most sense (with the mini figures included with the craft) and the Necro symbols are useless for the Milano. Necro works with the Necrocraft of course. One thing to note is that Yondu's Ravagers fly ships of the same make as the Milano, so if you plan on buying more sets to make more space pirates, think about that.

One thing I've noticed is that the stickers on the sheet seem to be thicker than the stickers that come with the Milano itself. If that bothers you, I would take that into consideration. Your idea of using tan plates with the Awesome Tapes is great, and I think that I will be doing that too!

I've attached a picture of the sticker sheet and manual for reference (courtesy of user 'Brickus' on Eurobricks). When I am home from work, I will try to add pictures of my Milano and Necrocraft if that helps!

Superb! Thanks for the prompt reply and excellent info, it's given me a lot to think about. You see, I've been in a small dark age, and despite Marvel being my favourite theme, and Guardians being one of my favourite films, I've only just gotten around to getting the Milano (or, more accurately, in ten days when I get paid).

At the moment, I'll assemble and sticker the Milano as per the manual and see how that looks. I'll be watching Guardians again anyway soon, so I'll keep an eye on the Milano to see what should be on the hull. At any rate, if I add extra stickers, at the moment it'll be the Ravager and exhausts, as they seem pretty good on that picture.

On the other hand, I've seen Milano's sans minifigures new on eBay go for as less as £20-£25 at auction, so I may just buy an extra, add the extra stickers, and see how it looks. If it looks good, I can swap the stickered parts with my original, and use the other Milano for my custom Yondu. If not, I'll end up with an extra stickered Milano, and give it to Yondu and his merry men anyway (if that makes any sense).

As for the Necro stickers, I think I'll split them between the ship in 76019 and the one with the Milano, as I don't mind more blood splatter on either.

Thanks on the tapes! When I get the Milano, I'll take some pictures of tape one loaded up on the stereo.

So, it's taken ages. Life and my other hobbies got in the way, but as promised, a shot of cassette awesome mix #1 loaded up (on the slightly modified stereo I'll admit, I couldn't resist make a few changes inside)

I used the Awesome Mix Tape stickers on the printed tape pieces and I think that looks fine. Another favourite of mine would be the I <3 80's sticker. Definitely many uses for that one.
