Hi all..

Hi everyone. Thought i take 5 to say hi to you all...seems like a great forum :) My name is Keith and have loved lego for as long as i can remember but seriously got back into it 5 years ago. I am now an avid collector of star wars and the minifigure series since launch, but my favourite piece is my yellow castle i found in my parents loft they had kept. It was fantastic putting it back together and now lives in pride of place in my collection. I am also into making mosaics and will eventually put some pics up. My recent project was buying a big box full of indiana jones, star wars, agents and various other sets, putting them back together to complete sets which managed to fund lots of 2014 purchases. I last week did the same and picked up 3 boxes for £100.00 after discovering there was 10129 UCS snow speeder complete with instructions mixed up (Sticker sheet required) amoungst other sets which i am slowly finding. Going to take a few weeks of sorting but will make sure i post my finds. Love getting random boxes and pretty sure the last box was a good find. Has anyone else had good finds when buying boxes of mixed lego?? Anyway happy building and catch up soon

Thanks for hi..i havent had a sub favourite sub theme in SW but now am starting to like the bigger models.....although all my smaller Hoth models look great against the at-at. I am lucky enough to live 10 mins from the lego shop :) I see me getting slave 1 next week :)

^ You're lucky :). My nearest Lego Store is in Copenhagen and I live in Finland... I'm getting Slave 1, too. But I'll wait till my trip to Berlin. I'll get it from there for 200€. Lego.shop sells it for 220€ to Finland. I don't get it but it's something about our high taxes. So, doing a trip to Berlin and buying there a lot is cheaper. I like too the big sets, especially the UCS sets. I have SSD and R2 at the moment. I buy also a lot smaller sets. Even some battle packs are good for army building.
