I don't see anything in there that prevents one from going down the Lego aisle. I wouldn't dawdle though. That would be uncool if they are making people wait to get in.

Almost all the 2020 sets seem to be priced just $.04 less than RRP, so why bother?

I guess it's not listed in that official release from Walmart, but there are also reports, at least locally for me, that all "non-essential" areas are being roped off and closed, including toys, electronics, clothing, etc.

Found the new minifigure series 20 in the LEGO aisle. Just blindly-grabbed a bunch of them; back at home, clorox-wiped them before trying to guess the contents. Only two duplicates out of 13. Not bad!

Well, apparently my Walmart's toy section is still open, I just popped in there for the first time today in about 3 weeks. They must have had a box of the series 20 out earlier, because I found a grand total of two of the packages in the mixed bin.

Thanks for the heads up! I found 2 at one store like two minutes from my house. The shelf tag still has it at $79.95. I'm gonna have to start scanning everything to see what other deals I can get while I'm here.

@Pyrobug happy to help! Download the Walmart app and always scan in store price if you have suspicions it may be cheaper than marked. This has revealed clearance prices for me many times before.

I found it as well at a Walmart yesterday on the top shelf.  It scanned at the RRP of $99.  This WM had a full Lego aisle and the top shelf was pretty packed too which is a bit unusual.

Thats annoying, considering I would love to find those at this price, but all Walmarts around here are sold out (not surprising, given that-even before this self isolation garbage- that most of the Walmarts around me only had about 3 per store).

Wish I could find one at that price too.  Problem here is there's a second hand Lego store right across the street from my closest Wal-Mart so it's likely they scarf up all the deals before anyone else can get them.

when they dropped to $49, only one store within an a hour drive had any left, and i thought myself lucky to get a couple at that price, leaving 2 on the shelf. the price at that store now is $19, but out of stock. I'm happy with what i got, now to just make time to start building.

I got one of those yesterday and two today at another store who still had them at $89 yesterday. I also got #40349 and two #40350 for $5 each.

Also, be on the lookout for #11011 Bricks and Animals at $34.76. Strange price for clearance as Walmart's clearance prices are usually whole dollar amounts but whatever.

It absolutely amazes me that people get deals like the ones above. The second LEGO sets drop by 10%-20% around here they get scooped up. I used to find some stuff at walmart on their overstock shelves but everyone else must have figured that out because it's been a while since I found anything up there. Does no one like LEGO sets where y'all live?

I've been luckier than normal. I think it's partly due to fewer people being out and about. It also doesn't hurt that stores in my area quite often don't use clearance tags when they're supposed to so the only way to know the true price of a set scan it... Or check Brickseek everyday.

I had absolutely no luck today at my local Walmart.  Not surprised though since I checked inventory a couple of days ago & it looked like the sets I wanted were gone already.  They still have tons of the trolls sets in the special display but no deals I could find.  Absolutely no Minifigs from any series.  Just a ton of Poe X-wing polybags & some of the latest City polybags & more Trolls.  Nothing even showing on Brickseek within 50 miles.  Not that I trust them after the fruitless wild goose chase I went on last year to a couple of stores.

After a bit of a trip I found two #60229 for almost half off @ $89. I don’t need two, but didn’t want to leave it to a reseller. Thought it would be better to see if anyone here is interested for cost plus shipping.  So $89 + $9 tax + shipping.  With box more than without.

Huh. When I went to Walmart the other day, they had two boxes of them so I decided to get a few extras and I couldn't stop finding Super Warriors and Breakdancers. Oh, and knights. These must have been leftovers from other boxes that were condensed down to two boxes.

I managed upon a nearly new box over the weekend, and since I didn't want to be the guy standing there feeling bags during this pandemic, I grabbed a big random bunch. Ended up with duplicates of the Super Warrior and Martial Arts Guy which I'm now trying to sell off. My kid is still wanting the Pinata Kid so hopefully I'll get another chance to get some more.

Does anyone know when doing site pickup at Walmart.  If the app shows the price of $35.00 at the store, the checkout price is $149, do you pay the full price or the price in the store when you pickup the item.

^ full price.  You have to go in and buy at the store to get the clearance price.

or buy and try to return then buy again at the lower price.  YMMV

I just found two more #31097 for $19 a pop. I was very surprised to still see any around.

Should I pick up the four copies of #11011 Plants and Animals that I found for $34.76? I would love to get them cheaper but I don't think that's gonna happen any time soon.

I wouldn't know who to contact about getting that done. the normal price is 59.99. it's now showing out of stock when I try to buy it "at my store" in the app.
