    ^ Shoot. Too bad those aren't the bigger 30 gal size. I store a lot of my boxed sets in those to keep the dust off and make them easier to move around.

    I had a very hard time earlier I had a very hard time earlier with the website. I refreshed a bunch, and it would eventually allow me to order, but it took a bit.

    Walmart has also been cancelling orders for a lot of people. I've had orders cancelled and they weren't excessive orders by any stretch of the imagination.

    So, in other words, no. No legit reasons. Everyone with cancellations got this message. It's the same credit card I use for everything.

    Thanks for the info. My LEGO boxes have already shipped, but the several brickheadz I ordered are must haves for my kiddo, so I will keep an eye for any cancellations.

    ^^I got the same sort of message from [email protected] last year when I ordered during Black Friday. They had still charged me for the order. A call to CS sorted it out. Maybe the payment systems get overwhelmed in high volume situations.

    Just got two of the last four #10704 for $20 each at the Shakopee store. Not too crowded either; took me maybe 10 min. :)

    Plenty of #10704 left but passed.  Picked up the box and surprised how light it was.  Too many small pieces; couldn't pull the trigger.

    10704 is great for BrickLink part out, especially since I'm familiar with it from last year. There were still plenty left at 9, and the crowds were reasonable by then. I got 26 and 1 of the DUPLO, what I could afford and had room to carry. Several people wondered what the heck I was doing but appreciated the hustle

    @Astrobricks what time did you go?
    @1265 I can get 2 sets' worth in 1 box easily and jam in a 3rd (useful for compact transportation and storage), but I take that as a mark against the packaging, not the set itself.

    Also, I agree about the packaging. A normal 900 piece set would be in a smaller box.

    Stopped by Walmart to return something and I saw the 900 piece Lego box on clearance for $15. There was a bunch left.  Guess they are not selling at all.

     Went to our Mountain View, CA Walmart Saturday just before closing and they still about ten #10704 ($20) boxes near the front as you walk in.

      Completely forgot to check brickseek. Checked my area and there are some stores with a lot left.
    While good for parts still and somewhat cheap presents, it apparently also shows that AFOLs were driving the BF sales for the 1500 count boxes.

    I did the exact same thing. Amazon now has it at the Walmart price, and you can get another $32 off with the Amex shop with points promo (20% discount for applying a single membership rewards point). $127.99 plus tax. I submitted that order and plan to return my [email protected] order.

    Do you have a link for that offer?  I didn't see any when poking around my AMEX account but it could just be that mine isn't eligible for it.

    ^ Yep - There is a link in the second paragraph of this article where you can check to see if you qualify for the offer: https://thepointsguy.com/deals/black-friday-amazon-save-20-percent-amex/. I have my Amex account linked to Amazon, but have never paid with points. Not sure if those are the exact boxes you need to check to be eligible, but it did show up for me. If you get it working, be sure to reduce the number of Amex points to 1 (or $0.01) at checkout, otherwise it will use points for the entire purchase.
